Iphone Headset With Mic Used On Pc

I use this product to switch one TRRS headset between PC and iPhone. There are many other TRS switchers, but the TRRS switcher is rare. This product seems to work perfectly as a TRRS switcher and satisfies my need. I've tried another cheap TRRS switcher before, but that would cause the speaker output to flow back into the mic input, so it wasn't practical. This product does not have such issue and works well as a simple switcher. Since this product is just a simple switcher, so it may feels a little expensive. However, I guess the price is not a drawback because it could be used for a long time.

I was hesitated for this headset for quite a while. It is mostly due to the high price around 90+. B&H had it for $ and I had no second thought and grabbed it. The PC dongle works great as your audio device stay online whether you have the headset set to USB or not. This won't confuse the PC as applications tend to bind it to an audio device and get confused when you disconnect devices. Bind a bluetooth headset to PC and you know what I mean. I use the bluetooth mode for my cell phone only. Switching works flawlessly with a toggle on the headset. The boom mic also falls into one of my strict criteria as I found most of the wireless bluetooth headset without boom mic struggle to deliver clear voice. This one will not let anyone to notice you on wireless. I have it working with all my VOIP app, including my company Cisco VOIP app.

I moved away from the all in one headset solutions for my PC mostly due to quality differences. This mic setup has shocked people in my online community with it's ability to come through much better, it does a solid job with actual capture quality that I've not had in anything from corsair in the past. I highly suggest pairing this with a Sennheiser Momentum 4 wireless & then a Creative BT-W4 dongle for your pc & with that setup you'll be floored. I've got atmos, proper clarity, long lifespans & modular replacibility for the future by separating the pieces into individual purchases. The streaming set with the boom arm makes the mic so much better as I can just swivel it 180 away from me & it's out of sight & out of mind until I need to use it.

My headset died and I needed a replacement mic. It works great even with the laptop or PC speaker turned on. very compact. Love it

Used it on a few projects with my iPhone 6. Better,than the built in mic. Smaller than the other Rode video mics. You'll need a TRS to TRRS cable, sold separately to use this with the iPhone.
