Ever since getting my 2020 27iMac if I had more than one hard drive hooked to a port through a hub, I would get random disconnects. This hub seems to have solved that problem. I guess they need a powered hub. It also brings a high speed SD card slot back around to the front of my iMac where it belongs 5 |

This USB drive will not work with any of my USB ports except the USB 3.0 port. USB 2.0 is out of the question, it disconnects sporadically and can lose or not write data. Using a 3.0 port it works well, with sufficient read and write speeds. Lots of storage here! 5 |

I just received this adapter as a test before getting an iphone 8. I am using it with an iPhone 6 plus. The audio sound is better than that iPhone audio port! The sound has more depth, is crisper, and is more vibrant. My headset is a HyperX Cloud gaming headset, and people indicate that the sound of my voice is better with this adapter than using the stock port as well. My gf said it sounded as clear as a landline instead of like a cell phone. The inline controls also work on the headset even though it is not certified made for iPhone. 5 |
