Iphone Making Loud Static Noise From Headphones

With regular headphones I always had to turn up the volume way too loud to hear over the ambient noise at the gym. Now I can put in some earplugs and hear my music at a peaceful level. So much safer for my hearing! The tiny controls are a little difficult for my arthritic hands, but I can manage.

I recently got my hands on the Shokz Open Fit headphones, and I am absolutely blown away by their performance. I have been using these solidly for almost two weeks now, and I find them replacing every pair of headphones I use. I work in a large production warehouse that gets incredibly loud with all the machinery, and the noise cancelation is strong enough to make all of it faint. My PTSD makes going into loud public places almost impossible, so I rely on noise cancelation. Places like the grocery store are completely silent. Now my caveat. The Immersive Audio feels like a beta. It works wonderfully with certain songs, falls short with a lot of others, and is practically useless with things like podcasts and audiobooks. Thankfully you can use these without ever turning it on. There is a lot of potential and I suspect it will get much better with some tweaking in the future. Without the Immersive Audio, these are by far the best headphones I have ever used and will continue to do so. All the materials used give them a solid, premium, and comfortable feel. The sound is clear and the battery life is insane. I highly recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade. They are everything Bose does best. Just not for the Immersive Audio experience.

It's connected to the headphones output and I can hear the conversation loud and clear. Also the engine noise is now only 2% of what it was. It's a must have!

The sound is incredible although they are not loud headphones but you will hear everything!

I’m a drummer and I need something that will be audible clearly even with a loud instrument such as a drum set. Even though, this is enough already for monitoring purposes, which is not critical as far as noise (Hissing) goes, this device happens to have NO noise, no hissing whatsoever. If whatever source of audio you plug in, and there is hissing, humming etc, it’s your “whatever” that’s causing the issue. This unit not only has clean audio, but it’s LOUD. So loud that will satisfy anyone but will damage your ears if you’re not careful. If you want LOUD, the Polsen PMA-2B will deliver. To use it from a mixer: simply run a pair of XLR OUT cables from the mixer to the PMA-2B. Try to keep the levels from your mixer not to exceed 0db and no EQ for the best and cleanest sound. I also like the many ways to attach this unit. It has a belt clip, a solid 3/8 mount plus a shoe mount! To use you iPhone as the source since it doesn’t have XLRs: But this cable: Stereo Male XLR to Stereo Male 1/8” TRS. (Assuming you have the Apple lighting adapter) and you’re done! And again, it’s plenty loud. I only wish the PMA-2B had those dual purpose XLR female inputs that accepts either XLRs or Mono TS plugs (each channel) for even more versatility when XLR is not viable. Overall, price is right, ALL METAL, good electronics, no hissing and it’s LOUD. What else could you want? I’m pretty happy with mine. Also, check out the images I provided on my reviews. I gave this mic a bad review a few days ago becuase there was all kinds of static in videos made with my iphone 6 plus. Got in touch with with Rode directly. They suggested putting the phone in airplane mode. Holy smokes! What a difference. This instruction should be in bold letters on the packaging. The videos sound great now.

I like this speaker combo set, because they give me a lot of bass which I like a lot, and I don't even hear any static noise after 2 weeks.
