Iphone Not Playing Sound Without Headphones

I have used these headphones while recording location sound for twenty two years. Without a doubt these are the most durable headphones I’ve ever owned and I have owned many different brands. Yes the ear covers will need replacing every few years but at this price point, you’ll be able to afford the replacements. The sound quality is comparable to some on the best studio monitors out there…Perfect. I saw a review on here about outside noise being too loud to use these, that’s hogwash, I’ve never had any issues with anything like that with these headphones, in the twenty two I’ve been using them. 5 |

I use these headphones primarily for playing on my church's worship band. They do a really great job blocking out all of the external sound while allowing me to clearly hear my monitor mix. I also use them to listen to music while mowing. The sound quality is better than your average Apple earbuds but is nothing compared to headphones with multiple drivers. I love how these fit in my ears. It takes a few times putting them in to get the hang of it but after that, the fit is sung and I can wear these for hours with no discomfort. For anyone looking for noise isolating headphones with good sound, the Shure SE215 are a great budget choice. 5 |

I have been using these headphones for more than week and they are fantastic. I have been playing Steam games at night and they sound loud with clear sound all around. These headphones are extremely comfortable when using with my Lenovo Legion Laptop. I always love Creative Labs products. Quality is always there. Plus i got them on sale here at B&H. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are excellent little headphones! The sound is typical for JBL with deep bass and crisp highs. They are very very light, which I like a lot. They are comfortable to wear. I really like the integration with the JBL Headphones app. This model has a feature that measures the fit of the headphones by playing some music and using the microphone to see if it hears it. I learned that one of my ear canals needs a smaller end than the other! These have ANC which works very well. I used it in presence of my loud motorcycle and it removed all of the harsh sound, but not all of the sound. I really like that these are able to sense when they are in my ear. They will stop playing when not in the ear. That definitely helps when I am listening to an audio book and have to take my headphone(s) out to chat with someone. It will pick back up as soon as I put it back in my ear. I do wish the case had some texture on the outside, because it is slick and I have dropped it a couple times. All in all, I would definitely recommend these to a friend! 5 |

Without the Five's we could not get the music to the right level to hear while playing along. With a pair of Five's and a Move, we have had seven people playing different percussion instruments (Drum Kit, Congos, Cajon, Tambourine, Clives, Wood Block, Bongos... ) and still hear the music. 5 |

These have a very clean, clear open sound for a noise cancelling headphone. When set with no EQ, they do have a significantly increased bass response compared to what I'm used to in headphones, but that bass is extremely tight and articulate, not boomy or muddy. You can turn it down 2 to 4 dB with the simple three-band EQ that is set from the iPhone or Android app if you're like me. (Note that I'm used to somewhat lean bass, my wired headphones being HD600, HD800S, and Audeze LCD-5, all of which can benefit from a bass boost in EQ). Unlike my first wireless Momentum, these pair easily and reliably with Apple devices (in my case) including laptop, iPhone, and iPad. They can pair two devices at once and auto-switch between them. The call quality is exceptional, the touch control on the righthand earpiece is easy and simple, and the noice cancelling is good, without giving the impression of reduced sound quality. Last, they offer insanly good battery life! (Sennheiser claims 60 hours). At the new lower price, I think they are an excellent value, and a pleasure to listen to. 5 |

This is a well made, simple splitter that allows one to use an external mic with an iPhone/iPad and monitor the sound with headphones. I keep it in a baggie in my messenger bag so that it doesn't get caught on anything, and always have it with me with a lav mic for interviews. 5 |

I use these headphones with my iPhone, Laptop and other MP3 players and find them to be very comfortable and very compact. The sound quality after breaking them in is awesome for this price point. I also have a pair of Senheizer PX100 II's and I think the sound is similar for less money. The Koss Portapros come in a little carry bag that is quite useful. I only hope Koss continue to make these as I remember trying these at a store about 25 years ago @ $ Australian Dollars. 5 |

This is not the type of headphones you take with you in the street to listen to music from your iPhone. Regarding this use, it is not really convenient. But, this is the headphone to get if you do sound engineering work in studio. And all sound studios have this model, it is a reference. Its purpose is not to make the music sounds beautiful, but to be as neutral as possible. 5 |

I was looking for a pair of headphones for my iPhone 7, and these are even better than I expected! The sound is incredibly rich and clear - both the highs and lows are well-defined. The call quality is also very good - I use the headphones all the time for work. 5 |
