I am currently using this splitter to send my cable video to 2 monitors and send the audio only to a sound bar. The video on both monitors is full HD and the audio is crystal clear at all 3 locations! This splitter solved a problem with my sound bar that kept auto switching to a source with no audio. This is a well made, simple splitter that allows one to use an external mic with an iPhone/iPad and monitor the sound with headphones. I keep it in a baggie in my messenger bag so that it doesn't get caught on anything, and always have it with me with a lav mic for interviews. 5 |

Rather than having one plug for a microphone and one plug for headphones, as most people use for laptop connectivity, this Y splitter allows me to connect two audio sources to one speaker and use both simultaneously. It works perfectly for this task. My only comment is that it would be nice to have an eight or ten-inch length option instead of just six inches. 5 |
