Iphone Thinks That Headphone Are Plugged In

NICO, and anyone else that thinks they have the incorrect cable for their iPhone you're wrong... you have the correct cable for it, but there are two pieces you will need... you need the rode sc7, and the headphone to lightning cable adapter for iPhone. Connect those two pieces and you're good to go. I don't know why rode just doesn't make a single cable for the iPhone. I guess Apple won't allow it because they don't get a cut from it... smh. And if you have the DJI action 2 you will need the sc16 usbC to usbC... hope this helps!!

Great for iPhone and iPad. I wish it had a headphone output.

I plugged it in the aux jack in my old Honda, connected it to my iPhone and it works perfectly.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do and even indicates which split cable should have the headphone plugged in and which one should act as the output. Basically an idiot proof product.

Excellent quality. I am using this on my MacPro laptop, plugged into the headphone jack to GarageBand. Because the 1/8 connection is tip-ring-ring-sleeve, the Mac recognizes this as input when connect to an audio console.

Plugged and played directly upon contact with my audio workstation. Perfect choise of high quality condenser mic as it is also serves as an audio headphone interface out from my DAW. The mic's signal is routed directly though the stereo headphone connector on the Yeti (0 latency). Care needs to be taken, setting it up if your source is as loud as my singing voice, since I'm not sure the mic's diagfraghm can withstand pressure without introducing Character or distortion.

I got this for two reasons: 1. Didn't want to reach to the back of the iMac every time I wanted to use headphones. When plugged in, this hangs about 2 inches below the bottom of the screen and is easy to reach to plug in headphones. 2. Didn't want to use the headphone jack on the iMac for risk of wearing it out over time with the switch inside getting stuck on headphone mode which would prevent sound from built in speakers. The item looks very well made and durable. The sound quality is crystal clear with no hiss or pops. NOTE: when you plug a headphone in, it does not automatically switch to headphone mode. That has to be done manually in the operating system (both MAC OS, and Windows/BootCamp). Simple procedure of switching to GHW USB Audio. One might think this is a hassle but it's not because this way you can leave the cable plugged into your USB-C Port and still have sound via the internal speakers. In fact, you can leave the headphone also plugged in and still have sound via internal speakers until you choose otherwise.

Just plugged it into the headphone output of my board. Voila! An instant headphone mix for 4! If you want to be more sophisticated, assign to a group or send for a more variable headphone mix. Works flawlessly. More than enough volume gain. Don't hesitate to buy.
