Iphone X Not Charging But Headphones Work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this charging piece for my iPhone. The 3.5 mm Audio + Charge RockStar lets use your headphones while charging your iPhone. Just connect your headphones, speakers, or AUX cable (aka AUX cord) to enjoy music or talk hands free, while you charge. Use the 3.5 mm RockStar at home, at work, in the car, or on the go.

I was given this product in exchange for a fair and unbiased review. The Belkin Lightning Audio + Charge Rockstar fixes what may be the only problem with the iPhone 7 series phones, along with future iPhones - the lack of ability to listen to headphones while charging the phone. The device is very simple to use - you plug it into your iPhone, you plug your charge cable into one side and your headphones or headphone dongle into the other. The iPhone figures out everything else for you, and off you go. Should Apple decide to drop the headphone port on future iPads, this device also has you covered. I was able to charge my 2017 iPad with the 2.4 amp Apple charger while plugged into this dongle at its full charging rate. There are other, cheaper (read - not "MFI-compliant") options out there, but you run into compatibility problems with software updates and quality control issues. For me, the Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar is the only option for charging and listening to wired headphones, as it's MFI compliance guarantees that a future iOS update won't disable it. All in all, this is a good overall product for what it does.

This is not the type of headphones you take with you in the street to listen to music from your iPhone. Regarding this use, it is not really convenient. But, this is the headphone to get if you do sound engineering work in studio. And all sound studios have this model, it is a reference. Its purpose is not to make the music sounds beautiful, but to be as neutral as possible.

Good enough for charging the iPhone

It works, and expect it will work when I can get back in my car and listen to music from iPhone while charging phone. So far I am sheltered in place, so won't know for sure how it works or if it will fail. The device I bought on line from another manufacturer failed after couple of months. Belkin was much more expensive so assume it will be higher quality..

These headphones are great. However if you have a Droid the IPhone cable will NOT work. Save yourself the frustration and get the right ones.

I'm very happy with these headphones. They work so well with my iPhone-connection is solid and Siri works perfectly with it. I take calls and no issues there either. I sweat pretty hard and have had no issues with the headphones in terms of that. Recommended for sure!

I've used an iPhone for many years but this is my first iPad. It seems to do everything I need, which isn't a lot since I have desktop computers for doing my serious work. But this iPad is great for checking email, keeping notes, watching Youtube etc. I'm sure it's capable of doing a lot more stuff if I needed it. For $329 it is a much better purchase for me than an expensive one.

I was mainly looking for a pair of headphones that stayed in my ears and work well and these do. Love how compact they are and the charging and Bluetooth is so easy

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It does what it is supposed to and the wireless charging seems to work wel. I would prefer that there was a package option to order this with the H600 headphones and not have to do it separately. I really like having a nice stand to hold the H600 headphones and charge them at the same time.
