Very nice clean simple design that holds an iPhone XS Max and case without even using the XL kit. The set screw holds the phone solidly in place with no chance of slipping even though it attaches or removes in just seconds. Good price too. 5 |

I currently have two other versions of this Lav. This is a unique addition to those. I will be using this on my iPhone since they did away with the headphone jack! Works great for memo recording and also live streaming. I will be using this for youtube uploads that require little to no editing so I can quickly plug in, record and upload with better audio. The cord is a good length and I am loving it so far. Whats also great is that this does not require a battery like my other wired units and there is a headphone jack if you need to monitor yourself! I used this hooked up to my iPhone 6+ in the past, but since I upgraded to the 7+ with no headphone jack I've been using the mic hooked up to an audio recorder for my DSLR video (the recorder has phantom power). I use the extension cable and rode adapter for standard 3.5mm input and it works great. The sound is as good as I'll need it to be for interviews. I'd only upgrade to a nicer mic if this one breaks. 5 |
