I was going to buy a piece of black iron pipe to ise and paint it, but for the time involved the price, it made sense to just buy this one. It even has a side hole for feeding cables through.

I got this to attach my mirrorless camera to a superclamp and then to the 1 iron pipe column of my home brew copy stand. It is ROCK SOLID and easy to align. I bought a 3/8 screw stud to hold it onto the superclamp with a little extra stability. I'm copying prints, slides, and negatives with my macro lens, instead of using a scanner. I could not be happier with the results.

This holds my Neewer ball head to the 1 iron pipe I use as the column of my home-brew copy stand. I use a mirrorless camera and macro lens to copy prints, slides, negatives, stamps, coins, flat art, etc. and needed a secure mount for the camera. The rig is steadier than a Bencher copy stand I used for 33 years at work. It's a great design, and it is quite well built!

Perfect fit for an AutoDesk standing desk. I mounted two side by side an they look like original equipment. These are not as deep as other drawers but then again those other drawers could not be mounted properly on a “Standing Desk.” Solid build and packaged well. Tidy's up my desk nicely.

Great card storage device! I was always searching through desk drawers and camera bags for lost cards. But no more!

This clamp can hold a 580EX II wherever you want, like in a door, a desk, a chair, a pipe, a shelf... It stays in the position you left it and you don't have to adjust it all the time. I use it to hold a 580EX II controlled by another one in my 50D

Really strong, easy to use and great for clamping on pipe or desk edge, the locking pin is will built and great design, 3/8 and 1/4 holes are well placed, I use it with solution9 arms for small monitors or even a wall plate holding a stream deck. Great unit

You may ask yourself (as I did) how to justify the price of this track vs old fashioned Schedule 80 Aluminum Pipe. If you own a Grip Truck then no big deal, but if you drive a car well then ... The problem with regular pipe is the compromises you make in carrying pieces short enough to fit in your vehicle. I was considering just using shorter pieces of aluminum pipe with the "70ES Locking Splices" to join them together. That would require multiple pipes, multiple 70ES Splices, drilling a bunch of holes and buying a Carrying Case. At the end of the day, the "DIY" method would have been cheaper financially, but also cheaper performance wise, assembly wise and aesthetically. I decided to just get the Official Dana Dolly Track and I'm glad I did! It goes together quickly and seamlessly (very smooth rolling) better on both counts than the 70ES Splices would have been. Also, it looks much more professional than DIY Aluminum Pipe with holes drilled in the sides for the Splices. It packs up into a relatively small bag and is easy to throw in the trunk. It allows me to have a fairly long track run available for the client in case needed, something that wasn't possible with regular pipe.
