ASUS is a brand known to me via my landlord...he's owned an ASUS laptop in the past. It's played all my DVDs and CDs so far, even scratched &/or sunburned ones. Great option to plug-in to your laptop for E drive purposes. Does not play Blu-Ray but since I don't yet own any of those that's not an issue. 5 |

As expected, Asus comes through with flying colours. I purchased an off-brand from a local store last year. It lasted less than a month. I just wish I had gone for the Asus product to begin with. I have had nothing but excellent service from Asus products. I have been using their motherboards in my computers for more than twenty years and have yet to have one fail.
