I use it as both a background and to block external light sources. It's opaque and shows up as black in all my shots. Two warnings, it's bulky. I have a 96 paper cutter so I had to hack off a chunk (with a saw) to get it to fit. And its construction is felt-like, meaning it doesn't take adhesives well (masking tape) and tears fairly easily at pressure points. (hey its paper.) 5 |

Do you need a 24 by 36 inch opaque black flag? Well here you go. Nothing to debate or be confused about. This blocks light well, as well as reflections with it's dark, matte finish. Perfect simple tool. 5 |

Nice, easily manageable size. Has opaque base with covers with white, black, gold, and silver reflectors. Easy to grip handles. The gold is a bit intense for close use but moved away from the subject a bit it is nice for portrait shots 5 |
