Is Canon R6 A Professional Camera

This camera has been improved in almost every way over its predecesor, the already excellent R6. Well done, Canon! 5 |

I am a new professional photographer. Moving from shooting for myself to shooting for paying clients is a major adjustment. The Canon R6 is a great pro camera! Fast and accurate auto focus, 12 fps and great handling. But it is not about specifications. As a new photographer I was nervous in this first month of pro shooting sessions. Lighting and set up and content was overwhelming. The ease of use made the camera the one thing I did not have to worry about. I knew I was going to capture some great shots. Another thing! B&H is the best. They got the camera to me in 3 days. I was able to bring the R6 to a gig next day. Lastly the kit lens is decent. The 24-105mm. F4 STM ( non-L) nearly matched a few of my primes on the shot. With good lighting this lens is very sharp. 5 |

I am very happy with the new camera bag. It fits everything very well. Camera body (Canon R6) and two lenses as well as a speed light. In addition there is extra room for other items. The bag is well made and well thought out with lots of options when using it. This bag meets exactly what I was looking for in a camera bag. 5 |

My first serious camera was a new Canon Ftb, yeah, I'm that old. Since then I've owned and professionally used more than a dozen Canon cameras and not one has let me down. I bought this full-frame R6 Mark II to replace a 6D Mark II and compliment my crop-sensor R7 for both stills and video. I consider the R6 Mark II to be the Goldilocks camera because it's just the right combination of performance, great features and price. I'm no longer a sports shooter, other than my grandkids, so an R3 is overkill and I don't need the 45 megapixels of the R5. I chose the R6 Mark II over the R8 mostly for the better battery and in-body image stabilization. 5 |

I have used quite a few different camera systems over the years, and sometimes it's hard to see why you should upgrade. I have used Canon for many years, though I am familiar with and have shot with Nikon and Sony systems. I really prefer the Canon menu systems. This new R6 doesn't disappoint. Everything is where you expect it to be if you are used to the way Canon menus are set up. That made it easy for me to get out and start shooting right away. The real impact this camera made on me was the quality and clarity of the images. They are extremely crisp and detailed. I also shot with the auto ISO setting on to see how the camera did in low light. And the images at 25600 ISO our really quite outstanding! The second feature I was surprised by is the minimum focal distance. I combined this R6 with the Canon RF 24 - 70mm 2.8f lens. With this combo, I can literally set the edge of the lens on something and get focus. The shallow depth of field and macro capabilities puts a huge smile on my face. I attached a low light image and an image where I set the edge of the lens on the edge of my keyboard at my desk. I'm really impressed. Definitely a great buy and worth the investment. 5 |

I was curious if the adapter ring would work with my existing line of Canon lenses to work in conjunction with my new EOS R6 camera, and it has worked wonderfully! The focus, clarity, and speed are all great and I have been very impressed that I can use my existing Canon lenses with the new EOS R6 camera. 5 |

Bought for the Canon EOS R6. Perfect fit on the camera. Didn't have to sacrifice the use of my flip screen on the back of the camera. It's very sleek and lightweight. No issues shooting handheld either. If you shoot on a tripod and like vertical orientation shots even a little bit, it's totally worth it 5 |
