Is Duct Tape Good For Shipping Large Boxes

As useful as duct tape but reusable.

Rolls of tape (gaff, painter's or duct) tend to be far too large to fit in even my largest pockets. There are some easy cheap options for carrying it around, such as a loop of rope. I like this holder because it makes it easy to carry tape and also tear off a length with one hand. And if I need to hand the roll to someone else, the spring loaded bottom makes it easy to remove the tape from the holder. All in all it is a useful tool that I'm glad I have.

I didn't grow up in the industry so never heard of gaffer tape. I used duct tape for most needs. Duct tape will keep it on there - but it leaves such a sticky mess. Problem solved with gaffer tape. It's quite expensive but then again if I were to tally all my time trying to remove duct tape residue.. I haven't tried other than the general brand. It comes highly recommended and works great for all my needs. Sticks- and no mess. Perfect..

Better than Duct Tape!!! Strong, good stick, and no residue. Band aid to GOBO, it's a thick bodied tape that has been used on every shoot.
