Is Google Tv Good

I really loved my original Google mesh network, but the access points started to fail. I was looking for a decent upgrade, but the new nest system was not seeming to hot. I read good reviews about this product and pulled the trigger. This system has about the same range as my old google system, but with a much faster speed. The app allows for instant review of all connections to the network (decent security) and offsite management of the network (good for troubleshooting for my parents). In the month I've used the system all seems to be going great. Setup was seamless, performance is great and management through software is on par with the giants like google. The promise of expandability is the icing on the cake, as it allows this to be a great start. 100% would recommend.

Best TV I will ever have. I am not a fan of the Google OS but you don't have to use it. Setup was easy and well designed.

So first and foremost the picture quality is amazing! Love the Netflix calibration and IMAX calibration. Love the Sony core also. This tv was very easy to setup. I went with a cable matters ethernet to usb to plug into the high speed usb port. So instead of being capped at 100 mbps I get well over 900. Going from Android tv to Google tv was kind of a change. Still up in the air about Google tv? I noticed I cannot download the Plex app with the play store with Google tv? Why? I really hope this changes! Right out of the box this tv is phenomonal. I made just one tiny settings chane thats it. Great colors and great black level. I have seen no blooming. Best picture I have ever had on a tv! The only thing I can say that I dont care for is the remote control. Its small which is ok but very hard to use in a dark room. I would really love a backlit remote! And if you are in apps only mode for a home screen you lose the voice remote? Again why? Needs to be updated this is really dumb! Overall this tv rocks! And the upscaling is fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently recieved the X90L / X91BL Sony Bravia 55 Inch Tv and let me just start out by saying this is one of the top of the line tvs out there on the market for consumers. I really like the slim design of the TV, it fit perfect on the TV mount in my room. This TV is very easy to use once you get used to all the buttons on the easy to use control. It's very easy to navigate it. I really like how the sound quality is also and you can adjust the sound based on how the TV is placed, either standing or on a wall mount. The TV sounds great with a nice crisp sound. The performance of the TV is also excellent, and adding a Google account and being able to search via the Google mic is just superb. There is so many cool things to do with this TV and I was highly impressed with all of it. Very well made product and I know this TV will last a long time. I am really liking it so far and would definitely recommend the Sony Bravia TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted something like this but didn't want to have to deal with cords and the setup/configuration. I was really excited to give Sony version a shot even though I don't have a Sony TV. My TV is a Vizio and was still very easy to set up and now use. My configuration is a Vizio TV with a Google TV Chromecast. The Google TV remote now powers both the TV and is able to simply turn on the soundbar (this was important so as make it as easy as possible for my wife and daughter to use). I've also got the wireless subwoofer tucked away off to the side so it's also out of the way. The sound is great and I really like the night mode on the Sony remote that helps for late-night watching when everyone else is asleep. We've still not found the perfect bass setting, but I would expect to make adjustments based on the movies we are watching.
