True story - I dropped my phone off of a ~60 foot cliff with this case on. I watched hopelessly as it fell and landed HARD on the massive boulders below. It took me like 30 minutes to find a way down to my phone, and then to find my phone sitting perched atop a rock, still playing my music, completely unscathed. The case itself had a few minor scratches, but the phone was completely fine. The case has a slim low-profile which is awesome. My only complaint is it has a tendency to begin falling apart after a while of use (and shortly after falling off of a cliff). I've had two in the four years I've owned my phone. I have the JBL Charge 4. Amazing true story! I accidentally dropped it in the burning barrel while burning trash. Unbelievably it still works. Check out the photos. Only thing is I can’t go real loud or it starts distorting. It never used to. And doesn’t hold a charge as long. I love my speaker it goes everywhere I go. I love loud music!! But unfortunately it stays home now. I am saving for the JBL CHARGE 5. But something keeps coming up and It’s hard to get enough saved Hopefully by summer. Amazing speaker. It’s a survivor like me!! True story: I've used this to help me mow the last bit of the lawn after dark. But mostly it sits floating above my desk pointed into an umbrella so it serves as a light for online meetings. I've taken to setting it to 10% power and using it as a desk lamp. 5 |
