Is Minolta A Good Digital Camera

Have old Minolta lenses and currently use Nikon digital camera. The adapter allows me to use my old minolta lenses on my newer Nikon camera. Just working through the peculiarities of using old manual lenses on a fully modern camera. Results so far have been OK but I assume will improve once I get accustomed to the adapter and minolta lense differences. Ordering through BH Photo on line was quick and easy and fair price. 5 |

I had a Canon Rebel in the 90s and it was such an easy camera to use, when I decided to upgrade my old digital (a minolta), I decided I wanted a Canon again. So glad I bought it. The technology may change, but there is still something so familiar with this as it looks, feels, and operates just like my old one from the 90s. I also liked that this was a complete kit. All I added were UV filters, cap strings, screen protector, and a hand strap. The wifi and app connection is simple after you follow the directions closely. The pictures so far are really good. (pic posted only edits warmth and contrast due to overcast day) 5 |

New to digital photography and am amazed what the technology can do from the days of my Minolta SL R I purchased in 1972 5 |

I have had Minolta lenses since 1976 and never got rid of them however as we all move into the digital age a few years ago I Purchased a Canon 5D Mark four and wanted to use some of these older lenses on it. I have had Minolta lenses since 1976 and never got rid of them however as we all move into the digital age a few years ago I Purchased a Canon 5D Mark four and wanted to use some of these older lenses on it. This adapter makes it so easy to use those lenses on a brand new camera with the lenses are over 40 years old. The focus confirmation ship works perfectly there are no issues and it runs and works well for the vintage of the lens that you use on it they are fine what a great job in design and it works above and beyond what I am needed it to 5 |

I got this to scan some 1,000 (selected) slides from before the digital age. (My old Minolta Dimage Elite 5400 scanner went on the blink.) The Plustek scanner is reasonably priced, and produced excellent jpg images from slides taken as far back as the early 1960s. After some initial hiccups in installing the enclosed software (Silverfast 8), there were no glitches of any sort, and it was smooth sailing. Silverfast 8 is easy to use, and is quite powerful (although I didn't do much with its capabilities, since I use Nik Software for post processing). The few times I did use it to control color cast and others did not require a trip to the manual. 5 |

As a former Minolta MC/MC and Leica R enthuasiast, I had missed the touch, feel and rendering of these gorgeous lenses, which had been all but obsoleted by the digital revolution in photography. With some very affordable adapters, these amazing lenses have come back to life and I love it! I use the very capable a6000 body as a digital film, if you will. 5 |

The adapter does what it says. It is limited, but that is to be expected since we're talking about two different camera mounts. It is good to be able to use some of my favorite Minolta MD lenses on my digital Nikon. 5 |

Minolta MN67Z Digital Camera (Red) I love Super-Zoom Bridge cameras and have owned several. Super-Zoom Bridge Cameras do not typically provide the image quality of a high quality DSLR with a collection of high quality lenses. But they are excellent for many photographic purposes. The ability to easily and quickly move between a very wide angle to an extreme telephoto is great for casual photography. That capability combined with very reasonable price makes a super-zoom bridge camera, like the MN67Z, a great choice for anyone who has a limited budget but prefers a camera over a cell phone, and does not want to deal with the bulk and complexities of a DSLR with a bag of various focal length lenses. My wife and I use our super zooms for vacation snapshots, work related images and everyday snapshots. It is especially good for capturing wildlife shots because many birds and animals do not give you a lot of time to get a photo. The auto-focusing can be a bit tricky at times but under most well-lit conditions, the camera gets very good images. I have owned several Minolta SLRs and digital cameras over the years and was always impressed with the quality and value, this MN67Z is no exception from that experience. It takes good quality images and is easy to use. I really like the fully articulating back LCD, the one on my other bridge camera only tilts. Having a 20MP image is helpful when editing, even after some cropping the image is usually still large. The menu navigation is pretty straight forward and it is fairly easy to find and adjust settings. Having only used it for a few hours, my impression is very good. It definitely feels like I got more than my money's worth. 5 |

These batteries are a good replacement for the originals and I was able to get the old Konica Minolta 5D Camera fired up. It's a good, basic and very sturdy camera for field work. 5 |
