Apple Silicon is amazing.

We bought this Apple Laptop as a replacement for my wife's work computer when she retired. This is the perfect laptop for her needs. Everything works well, great size and weight. Plenty of power and storage for all of her needs.

This product works great for me. I run an Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer, I run a RodeCasterPro II Podcast Studio and I charge several Sony camera batteries for my Still and Cinema Line camcorders with precision high speed charging. I am extremely impressed with this product.

This MacBook Air is my first Apple MacBook. I got this laptop for Photoshop and Computer Science. Exceeded every single expectations. The process of purchasing and customer service of B&H Photo is excellent.

I had intended on waiting for the Apple Silicon iMac, rumored to be released sometime in 2021. But I began having significant issues with my current iMac (mid-2011). Apps like Adobe Creative Cloud could no longer be updated, and the unit was running slowly, crashing occasionally, etc. This new Intel-based unit is fantastic. I'm sorry I waited so long. It is lightning-fast, and it is a pleasure to work on. The Big Sur operating system is a major upgrade. The insight I received from the B&H staff prior to purchase was excellent, as I had questions about the proper configuration to meet my needs. Subsequent support for setup from Apple was top-notch, as they assisted with data migration from my old iMac. Everything was working right properly in almost no time. Having now used both the Apple Native Apps, as well as Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop, I can highly recommend this product.

Works as advertised right outta the box! Using it with an Apple Silicon Mac Book Pro (running MacOS 14.2). No drivers needed or any other software. It. Just. Works. I can now check my work emails on my Mac at home.

I used 2 of the prev version of the exact same box with Thunderbolt 2 connectors for 6+ years to bring in 2 Canon cams with HDMI outs to my previous MacBook Pro (for use with recording and live-streaming with Wirecast and others). I just got a brand new M1 MacPro with Thunderbolt 4 (usb-C) connectors so needed 2 of these to make the same connections as the BlackMagic drivers that work with Apple Silicon didn't support the older boxes I had. It was seamless - and the BlackMagic driver package for Apple Silicon macs worked as expected. No problems, and got right up and running on my new Mac. A little pricey for just being a converter box but it just works which is comforting in a production environment.

I’ve used a number of problematics hubs in the past. Some underpowered for my devices, some incompatible with Apple Silicon. This one just works with anything I throw at it — SSDs, HDDs, iPhone charger, peripherals. When you start to notice shin it just means something’s wrong.

I bought a this case along with the wallet so I could carry a few more cards around versus the Apple silicon case and wallet. Should have gotten this Peak Design due to start with. Now I know. Great case, feels fantastic in the hand and it sticks to everything with the magnet on there. If you’re considering buying this, just do it. Peak Design takes care of you.
