[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! The Samsung S800D blew me away. I wanted the sound of something better than TV speakers but also aesthetically pleasing. Here meets the S800D. The voices are crisp, music sounds great! If you have a compatible Samsung TV; you can have the best of both worlds with something known as Q-symphony. It combines the soundbar and Tv speakers into a beautiful immersive sounding experience. Another feature which really sets this soundbar above and beyond is active voice amplifier. Picture this, let’s say you are watching a show or movie with high background noise and the characters are talking. By having AVA on it will pickup on the noise and amplify the characters taking; so no dialogue is potentially lost and you don’t need to question what was said. The clarification of dialogue allows me to focus on the show without missing any exciting action. If you’re a gamer like my kids are, take advantage of Samsung’s game mode which is found in this soundbar. It provides more immersion and uses the up firing speakers for more intense sound effects from your gaming if you have the latest systems. If music is more your thing, it offers chrome cast and airplay support which provides better quality than your average Bluetooth connection as well Spotify connect. If you have a compatible Samsung phone you can tap the soundbar and your music will automatically switch over. Want to control your smart TV with your voice or pause your music? The soundbar also as voice assistant capability freeing up needing to get another device. I highly recommend this soundbar. So many features packed into a slim package!

Upgraded from old soundbar to go with new LG TV, great combo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG Soundbar S80TR sounds fantastic. Movies, TV shows, and games are more immersive with added sound. We previously used our TV speakers for a number of years, and the LG Soundbar S80TR took everything to a whole new level. Setting up and installing the LG Soundbar took less than thirty minutes to complete. You're able to utilize your Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity to listen to Spotify or audio directly from your phone, tablet, or PC. You can also Cast content directly to the soundbar. You're also to update and main the soundbar via the LG Soundbar App. Within the app you can adjust the output volume for each speaker. This is ideal if you live in an apartment or you don't want to wake your family at night. While playing content that supports a 5.1.3 setup, you're able to hear voices and sound effects all around you. The 5 represents the amount of speakers in the soundbar; the .1 represents the subwoofer, and finally, the .3 represents the Dolby Atmos speakers. The added Dolby Atmos speakers sends the audio to the ceiling and back to the listener. When you hear the added sound and clarity, you'll wonder why you didn't upgrade to a soundbar sooner. I wholeheartedly recommend the LG Soundbar S80TR to anyone wants to elevate their viewing or listening experience.

I have it set up in a bedroom that is used mostly for gaming and watching TV. I love that the rear speakers are wireless—no more tangled cables all over the place which is ideal for this space! The sound quality is amazing. With Dolby Atmos®, it feels like the sound is coming from all around me, which is perfect for not only movies but gaming as well. The bass is deep, the highs are clear, and the whole system delivers a rich, immersive audio experience. What I really appreciate is how the soundbar adapts to whatever I'm watching. Whether it's a movie, video game, or just some music, it automatically adjusts to give me the best sound. The remote is easy to use, and switching between different sound modes is super simple. It also pairs perfectly with my LG TV! Plus, it’s got all the connectivity options I need—Bluetooth, HDMI, and optical input—so it works great with all my devices. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was previously using a standalone soundbar without a subwoofer from a different brand which wasn’t too bad but having the Samsung QN-95B 75” TV and knowing what the built-in TV speakers were capable off I was also missing out on using them until I discovered Q-Symphony that allows the TV Speakers to be used in addition to the soundbar. The Samsung HW-S700D Soundbar was a perfect fit was my living space and served this purpose extremely well. The Soundbar and Subwoofer was super easy to setup. Although wireless capable, I chose to use the HDMI cable provided and it was an instant detection and pairing. My Samsung TV automatically recognized the Q-Symphony compatibility and adjusted the sound accordingly for maximum balance and range. The SpaceFit Sound Pro worked its magic to utilize the position and space and adjust automatically even while watching content in real time. No other setup required. I moved the subwoofer to various positions, and ultimately had it next to the sofa which enhanced the bass and feel. The Soundbar and Subwoofer provide great sound levels with well-balanced Treble, Mid, and Bass levels. The bass was a much-needed addition and gave the overall feel a more realistic vibe specially when watching movies and certainly listen to music. The bar is super slim yet performed extremely well for its form factor. It took up much less space than other soundbars and the overall design is super sleek to blend in with my room decor.

I purchased these speakers after reading on Reddit that they are compatible with my S801b soundbar. My setup is as follows: Samsung freestyle 2 S801b Atmos slim soundbar These 9500 speakers. The freestyle and soundbar aren't wired and connect via WIFI which to me was quite a shock because I have a separate setup in my other room with Yamaha amp, 5 speakers and a sub. To find that the freestyle and soundbar didn't even need a cable and delivered Atmos over WiFi was quite frankly, incredible. The subwoofer is especially great. I then decided I needed rear speakers and I looked at various options, there were a couple of models and one even had a separate box that the speakers wired into; I wasn't a fan of those. After reading a few Reddits I thought I would take a gamble and even though the soundbar isn't listed as compatible, I went for it. After unboxing the speakers I connected them to the mains then switched on the soundbar and pressed up to sync. The soundbar found the speakers straight away and hey presto it all worked! The sounds is brilliant and totally understand sync with no dropouts. I would recommend connecting these devices to your 5ghz WiFi network and connecting all your other stuff to 2.4 to prevent any interference just to be certain. To be clear these speakers need a mains socket each but otherwise they are wireless with no extra connection box. The rears also include Atmos height speakers so there are 4 rears in total. They aren't just a normal pair so well worth the cost. Samsung you need to update your compatibility charts to include the 800 and 801b. I can't fault these at all, the Atmos bubble everything creates is perfect and better than a thousand pounds worth of separates with not a speaker cable in site.

Wonderful soundbar, outstanding... it matches perfectly with my LG Tv 77" with spectacular sound; if you have a Tv LG you should try it. It would seem that due to It's size it would be limited, but it perfectly fills my living Room and the movies sound incredible. THANKS B&H for your excellent service.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought Dec 2022 to go with a new samsung TV. The pair use what's called q symphony which allows all the speakers to be used from both the tv and sound bar to work as one unit. Overall the sound is great not much adjusting needed. Only downside is the soundbar doesn't use eARC just ARC through one port, so everything needs to be connected to the TV then the TV to the soundbar, no optical connection either. It's very long for a soundbar which should fit under a 55" or larger, but the depth is extremely slim compared to the Q800 model that I saw in a retail store. Overall love the soundbar thinking on picking up the matching rear atmos wireless speakers soon to finish it off. If you need alot of connections directly to your soundbar or need a digital display on it, this soundbar is not for you. For everyone else, especially samsung tv owners who can use Q Symphany, want to have a very flush mounting soundbar, the HW-S800B is an excellent purchase, with the option to expand to a full 5.1(2).4 system.

I purchased this 65" Sony TV a few weeks ago over similar LG and Samsung tv's and I'm pleased.
