Under AppleCare+, when you take your iPad into an Apple Store for repair, they will either repair or replace it on the spot. In the case of a broken screen (which is what I have had in most instances), they will charge a relatively small deductible, and voila, in short order, you either will have a repaired device (if that is possible) or a new one. 5 |

If you own a MacBook of any sorts or iMac you should always get AppleCare. Since the very first time I purchased applecare, it has saved me enough that I would have to keep buying it for the next 5 laptops to match the repair cost savings. 5 |

Registered my new MacBook Pro 15 (non-retina) with this 3-Year Applecare Protection Plan, and received a registration certificate confirmation back from Apple within a few hours. I believe that Apple recently raised the price of AppleCare for MBP's to cover the less repair-friendly retina display models, but the older AppleCare plan (good until they're gone) worked just fine and saved a bundle! 5 |

I think the AppleCare is worth the investment. I have several Macs with mostly no problems. One problem did come up that required a new mother board but it was covered. I get AppleCare on all my products 5 |
