I've used various off brand battery grips. A few Vello and a Vivitar. I had replaced two of the Vello brand. Once by sending in for repairs and the second buying a new one. The Vivitar didn't last more than a few hours before failing. Being a professional photographer it's more important to have gear that works 100% of the time rather than saving a couple hundred dollars. I should have saved myself time and money years ago and just paid up front for this. 5 |

Well, this is it...the Rokinon (Samyang, Bower, Vivitar, etc...) lens that made everybody sit up and take notice. For good reason, too! For half a grand, there is nothing else that compares. This is very sharp, extremely fast and well-built. If you value this focal length and can live without autofocus, this is a no-brainer! 5 |

I found the Impact Mini Softbox to be a good value. I use it with a Vivitar 285HV which has an unusually large bezel. I've found that many diffusers do not fit the large flash head bezel. I personally like the snug (but not too snug) fit as it keeps the Mini Softbox securely in place and helps it to maintain its proper shape. 5 |
