This is my favorite wide angle to date. I was in Istanbul recently and this was on my camera about 80% time. Between it and my 85mm f/2 AI I didn't nee anything else. Minimal distortion makes it a great architectural lens. It's incredibly crisp from f/4 to f/16 and definitely seems sharper than the AF 20mm (which is sharp to start with). Keep in mind it won't meter with anything under a D7000; and no autofocus means its not much for moving targets, but for any sort wide angle still short of 14mm sort of ultrawide its pretty ideal.
