Great focal length range Excellent macro capability Good image stabilization Customer service EXCELLENT! I torqued the lens as it was closing and stripped it. Texas repair center replaced the lens at no charge. I've read complaints of poor communication. I did the follow-up calls at reasonable intervals and found the communication to be just fine. Sounded more like a busy repair shop than a customer service outfit. AOK with me. Be proactive. Cons: Needs light at the tele end so pics in dim light are noisy. Aperature range limited Autofocus has some trouble with low contrast subjects.
