Jabra Headset Wireless Range

The Jabra EVOLVE 20 UC Stereo Headset is a comfortable fit for a 4 hour shift. The earpieces are soft. The set doesn't bind or press in anywhere. The mic is nicely adjustable and the sound is clear when I am listening and background noise is suppressed; caller didn't even notice my other phone ringing across the room. 5 |

Purchased this as a gift for my wife since she works from home, and was tired of the corded Jabra headset. First fully charged day she said it lasted through her 8hr shift and could walk to the kitchen from her office which it upstairs without any dropouts. Clear voice since I did call to hear how it sounds, and headset audio I was told was great. Comfortable enough to wear all day. Got the Ms-Teams version everything was plug-n-play using an Lenovo Win-10 laptop. 5 |

The Jabra 925 works great with my Shoretel phone and my iPhone. It even starts Siri when I press the mobile phone button. I used the software to program the headset to automatically connect to my Desktop phone when I remove the headset from the stand. Great programming options! 5 |

an excellent headset--we used this to replace a Shure that came in a wireless mic set and it's got a little more sensitivity and range for sure. I find it a little less comfortable than some, but the sound is excellent. Good for talks and performances 5 |

For years I had been using the older Sennheiser RS 120 wireless headset which operated in the 926-928 MHz frequency range. The performance was adequate, but the unit suffered from multipath cancellation (signal reduction due to the out of phase combination of multiple reflections). You will notice this when you move your head slightly, and there would be a sudden, and audible, change in signal amplitude or a short burst of background noise. As I had need for an addition system, I decided on the RS 175 as it seemed to have good reviews. I have not been disappointed. The RS 175 operates in the 2.4 GHz band with digital modulation. While 2.4 GHz systems are also subject to multipath propagation deterioration, I noticed none with this system, even with the headset taken outside onto the patio with the transmitter 40+ feet away. As typical with digital modulation systems, there was a threshold effect -- if the headset got out of range, the signal would abruptly disappear, quieting the audio -- in the past, you would simply be greeted with noise. In addition, I very much like the Bass Boost and Surround Sound options which can be quickly selected at the press of a button on the headset. The one negative for the headset is that you need to really take the headset off in order to figure out which button to press. I find this a rather minor inconvenience as I am not changing audio level, bass boost or surround sound options on the fly. In summary, Sennheiser did a superb job with this unit. The audio quality is excellent (I used an analog input -- an optical interface also exists for even better quality) and the annoying multipath effects so common with many wireless headsets are non-existent. 5 |

So far, this has been incredibly convenient and really nice to use. It even charges my jabra wireless headphones! The electronics can get a little warm while using it but I’ve found that to be the norm with wireless charging. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The battery lasts a long time and can go a week with intermittent use. It connects to my S21 Ultra instantly. The sound quality is great coming from a Jabra Elite 65T, and the buds are much smaller too. The wireless charging doesn't work on any of my generic wireless chargers even though they charge the S21 Ultra fine. Also requires a little more tweaking for a good seal than the Jabra did, but the improved sound is worth it. I would recommend them. 5 |
