The single battery life with my GVM 48 Motorized Camera Slider is inadequate for multi-hour or all-night projects. So I use this dummy battery and plug it into my Jackery battery unit for virtually unlimited hours of power supply. I have a similar dummy battery for my camera which also plugs into my Jackery unit. Between the two, I can run the project all night long without interruption

I use it mostly to power my Dometic CFX3 95DZ when off the grid. I can get around 2 days, depending upon the outside temperature without using solar to charge the battery. I bought this to replace my Jackery Explorer 1500 and have no regrets. I like the App connectivity and configuration/display options. I don't know if I missed a setting, was outside of bluetooth range, but it would be nice to configure an alert to be notified when you have x% battery remaining. The 20-Amp charging feature is nice, but I'm not sure I have to many 20-Amp outlets to take advantage of it. It will definitely trip a 15-Amp outlet. Another thing I like about it over the Jackery is that it seems to be sized/shaped better for storage and transportation with the handles on the side. The only other thing that is not certain is if the DELTA Max cover is the official cover for the DELTA 2 MAX, since the website doesn't have a specific accessory section for the 2 MAX.

I have been think to get one of this for my camping trip. mainly to run electric blanket and water boiler and instant pot and things like that while I am out there without the hook up. as well as recharge my camera battery, laptop and other portable electronic devices. One night I saw Jackery is having the 15% sale so I went into B&H to order it but I did not see the sale price here, so I called the customer service department and within 3 minutes i got a price match and order was place. and the product show up about a week later. The Jackery explorer 1000 arrived with 3 layers well protected boxed, yes, 3 layers, first is the inner product package. then a very well made middle layer shipping box, then another strong outer shipping box. I have used the Jackery Explorer 1000 on two trips already and so far it works really good, it takes about 6-7 hours to fully charge it if totally dried, but I normally keep it charging while I am driving so i never run it completely down, I ran a electric blanket one time in my car, and after about 6 hrs of sleep it still have about 60% left. I test it with my small rice cooker and it used about 30% of the battery only. i charge two cell phone always completely dead after a long hike, the indicator says only killed 1% of the battery. I have also try to use that for tire inflator/compressor, small vacuum cleaner, a powersaw, coffee maker........ the lit goes on and on, so far so good, only thing I don't know for sure is how good the battery will be after heavy use for a year.

Great extra battery and an external charger. Perfect for going on long trips when you need more battery life.

Quality inexpensive battery charger. Ideal in that it is better to charge the batteries in an external charger vs. thru the camera.

Running off a laptop means it helps to have an external that has its own power source so its not draining my laptop battery. I have a portable drive so I use this one when in the studio and both always contain the exact same files. I have used Western Digital for years and trust them as I have never had one fail.

This is a great little portable battery charger. I carry it in my camera bag. It gets t he job done quickly.

If you shoot much at all, must have the external charger

The battery works fine. It does take some time to fully charge the battery using the external charger, but I like the higher capacity of the battery. Also, the price came down which make it even better.
