Well constructed, tack sharp photos at an extended primary range. I needed the extended range of 85mm for my nauture photography in a primary lens. Worth waiting for as it so far has met or exceeded my expectations. I really like the quick shift focus availablity.

Commercial quality at consumer pricing. Extended range and less interference from other nearby access points.

This is a first for me. As I upgrade to Canon I can say that I've been very pleased with the quality of their products. I took the plunge recently and purchased the Canon EF100-400 f/4.5-5.6L USM for shooting mostly wildlife and stepped it up a notch with this converter. Although it disables the auto-focus and IS it does provide an incredible extended range for tripod shooting. I've found it works well with the lens and have had great results in the proper lighting conditons and also like the flexibility it gives me when a shot calls for the extended range.

Been using this on a Sony Alpha since Oct 9, 2021. It's reasonably sharp at all focal lengths, has little geometric distortion and very low chromatic aberration. Contrast is excellent for a zoom of this extended range. It replaced three previous Sony lenses and except for a stop or so of speed at the wider angles performs just as well or even better. Also, the close focus range is vastly improved over the previous Sony lenses. The only slight negatives I've noticed are that the extended focus range can create slow focus transitions when going from close ups to long distant shots. There is no focus range limiter to restrict the focus range for faster, but limited focus. The zoom control is somewhat stiff in the 100 to 300 mm range, but it's possible that may loosen up with use. Otherwise this is a good example of a extreme-range zoom that has few compromises and shows what is possible at a reasonable price with modern lens design is exploited. I've included an un-cropped image at 43 mm and a central 32% crop with the lens at 300mm.

I shoot a lot of pictures at indoor basketball games. This has extended the range of my built in flash very well. It is light weight and does a good job. If your looking to extend your flash without the high cost of an external flash, this will do it.

I'm really enjoying the extended range of the lens. I've had it for about 10 days and have taken it out on several occasions to photographs large and small birds. Very happy with the performance of the lens.

This product is excellent! The access points that we purchased greatly extended the range of our wifi on all three floors of our fairly large church building.
