This is a great multi-functional lens at a great price. I was at a wedding in Egypt & someone knocked my D50 off th table & the lense got banged up internally. I bought this as a replacement & it's great bang for the buck! 5 |

I bought an extra battery for my Egypt trip and boy am I glad I did. I took so many photo's, I needed the back-up battery with me. I would let it charge overnight (so, I don't know exactly how long it would take to recharge). I took video photo's from my camera with this battery. I think 300 photo's per charge would be a good guesstimation of life of the battery. 5 |

I bought this lens to be my walk around lens on a trip to Egypt, Jordan and Israel. I couldn’t have been happier. The size and weight was a perfect balance with the stellar performance. Crisp focus, great color rendition and easy to compose shots at various distances. It worked great for both landscapes and portraits. I highly recommend this lens. 5 |
