I was surprised to see this spotter was assembled in the US. Components are most likely from Japan. Getting the eyepiece to lock in at first was tough but after I got it the first time, it's easy to swap. Glass is perfect, no CA, clear through all magnifications, and outsides are clear. The only complaint is eye relief at the highest mag, feels like I'm eye lashing the lens. For the price, cant beat it. 5 |

When I compared the cost of an original Nikon release (used) and this one it was a no-brainer. It works just as well, but does not say Nikon - Made in Japan if that might be worth anything extra. 5 |

i love this lens. size it´s super compact compared to the sony on the same reach. It is made in Japan and the images that come out of the lens are simply awesome. My sony 6700 and this lens make a compact and very powerful solution for any kind of photography. As an advanced amateur i think this is the greatest system i´ve ever owned. I also shoot with a ricoh gr iii but the fact that you can use this one on so many focal distances make this combination a real winner. Also shipment from B&H was perfect as usual. Please find enclosed some images SOOC at a recent trip. Hope this short review might be useful. 5 |
