My son replaced his Yamaha electric guitar stand with this.

This is a great design - it can hold Acoustics and Electric guitars with little chance of them accidentally banging together.

I have always used 10's on all my electric guitars. After watching a YouTube video that compared the tone of different gauge strings, I decided to switch to lighter strings. I'm really surprised that these don't feel too light for me. They have a clearer tone than the D'Addario 10's I was using.

This product is great. Its compact and built well. Fits both acoustic and Electric guitars as well as bass.

Small Office, Several large acoustic guitars, several electric guitars. This stand handles the lot where others would only handle so many of the acoustics. The split top part seemed strange at first but now that I've gotten used to it I like it. I can tilt the guitars nicely in either direction with this feature. I didn't know that was important until I had that option. It feels solid, like it will last well. This feels like a good use of my money!!!!

And a floyd rose bridge (Ibanez) of course! WOW!! What a fine guitar!! I am jamming night and day!! Thanks Steve!!!

I like Vortex, so I was curious if shifting production from Japan to China would result in a worse quality of a "new" product. First of all, I have to say that the Japanese have built a brand new factory in China, and the leading staff are Japanese. Nor was there any change in the output quality control. To compare the "Made in Japan" and "Made in China" versions, I had to borrow the Japanese version from my colleague. The size and weight remained roughly the same, the new version may still be slightly smaller. But what is most important? In my opinion, brightness, purity and sharpness are at the same level, but the field of view is broader at first glance at the new version. I did not see anything better in the 8x42 binoculars category (even in a higher price category). Definitely recommend this Vortex binocular regardless of the fact that it was made in China. The fantastic lifetime warranty has stayed and, in addition, you will get great GlassPak as a bonus.

Now says Made in Vietnam instead of Assembled in Vietnam. Not sure there is any difference. Made in Japan would still be better for a VERY expensive lens, from a Japanese company, but whatever. It's still as good as it ever was.

Made from an advanced Japanese silicone, or so LogicSkin informed me when I emailed them a question. It's durable, storable, and should last. The fit is near perfect over my Macbook Pro keyboard. It's a great solution to buying a dedicated keyboard for twice or three times the money. It's a quality item, not some flimsy junk. I wanted a skin I could pop off and on and this seems to work just right.

While I've known Yamaha for producing amazing audio products (guitars, mixers, etc) I have always used Sony or Beyer headphones. When my last headphones got destroyed I thought I'd give these a whirl. Comfortable, well built and a very rich sound.
