Jay Vt Weather Underground

I thought this was the newer version of the older P7.2 flashlight but received the P7 instead and first thought it was a shipping error but correspondence with B&H led to learning the P7.2 was discontinued and its upgraded features were added to a new upgraded P7, which is brighter and lasts longer on AAA batteries. After extensive use, I can confidently say that the Jay carbon fiber tripod with a leveling base and fluid head is a game-changer. The head's smoothness is unparalleled, making every adjustment a breeze. It's a professional tool that's a joy to use.

Arrived days before expected. Clean and perfect. Took it out the next weekend and got some stellar Stellar Jay pics.

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use.

Solid takes abuse perfect for poking the gopro into strange places underwater and underground.

So far so good! Using as a backup power supply for an underground dog fence and so far is working great.

We mostly use it to protect our lens for our camera at work, being as we drag the camera through steam tunnels, in mud trenches, inside underground vaults, and through all sorts of other environments. The filter screws on firmly to the end of the lens and protects the lens from scratches, dirt, dust, etc. without distorting any of the pictures.

I use 50+ of these routinely for delicate electronic sensors that are buried underground in very wet Florida environments for over 6 months at a time. I love the color-changing pattern on the exterior of the pack that let's me now when it's due for replacement or refreshing in a microwave. I used to use the metal type that needed to be baked for 3 hours, but those too long to replenish and were small in comparison.
