Jazz Recording Studios Nyc

I bought this at the NYC store right before visiting a jazz club. What a wise decision! It worked very well with my Sony ZV-E10. See the attached photo. My dumb decision was to record video without digital stabilization on. My hand was too shaky.

I work as camera operator at a few local TV studios here in NYC. If you're looking for a fairly-priced 5-pin XLR headset to call your own (to avoid sharing and sanitizing during cold/flu germ season), then look no further. Eartec checks all the boxes, from price to build quality and comfort.

I love this headphone. Very useful in live shows and recording studios with a great sound.

To all my associates; I am a jazz player and singer and I have a home studio for my recording projects. After a few years with large capsule condenser microphones, 3 to be exact, I have found the ribbon microphone to be the best for my type of vocal. For the price of the MXL 144 it has a great natural sound and the highs are not rough. Just a little EQ for your personal taste. I ordered a pre amp but found I did not need it for my recording system. I run it directly into my Tascam US-1641. Eventual I will update to the more expensive models.

If your budget allows, please do not settle for anything less than the Neumann 102. Over my 12 years of recording in a studios across the world, Neumann mics have provided the best sound overall across a diverse range of vocals. From singers, choirs, rappers, or broadcast, this is a must have! Do not settle if the budget allows.

I'm used to working on Keningston Trackballs in various recording studios, and I really wanted one in my office as well, so I jumped on B&H's recent flash sale on these. It's a really nice upgrade over the logitech marble trackball I was using previously. The ergonomics are night and day, thanks to the wrist rest and the larger size. It's also nice to have the scroll ring, which was absent on the logitech.

You can pay more for a fancy power conditioner or get this. These have been used in recording studios, live concert rigs, and professional sound systems for decades... proven reliability.

I use this in multiple recording studios and it's absolutely fantastic. Zero noise/interference. Excellent layout of outlets. And with coax and ethernet connections as well, it's simply a jack-of-all-trades. A+

I purchased over a dozen of these over the last several years. 3 pairs for myself and the rest for several small recording studios I helped put together. Make sure to replace the pleather pads with Beyerdynamic valour alternatives.

15+ years of seeing this on stages, multiday festivals, and recording studios. There's a reason it's in every professional's toolkit.
