Jb Electric Washer Top Load Quarter Coin Operated

This was entirely an impulse purchase. I mean, who doesn't have a key or a coin within reach 99% of the time? As it turns out I really, really like this thing. It feels really substantial in the hand. The business end is nice, thick, and square which gives it a nice positive feel when torquing down on a screw and doesn't feel like it's going to cam out of the slot like a coin might. Because the top part is only as wide as a US quarter I don't feel like I have the same potential to over-torque and damage anything like I could with the long end of a hex wrench. Some have commented that it's too thick for the slots in some of their screws so for those of you with burdened (or blessed) with tight slots here's some numbers: Using a dial caliper the tool end measures .423 wide (10.72mm, 27/64) and .074 thick (1.88mm, or just a hair under 5/64). By comparison it is thicker than a the edge of a 2001 US quarter but not by much - the reference quarter from my pocket measures .068 thick (1.73mm, or a hair over 1/16). Basically, if your slot is a tight fit for a US quarter this might not work for you. I tried it with every slotted camera accessory screw I had within reach and it fit all of them.

Top quality, perfect fit, can even still access the doors. I like that the mount screw can be worked with a coin, no need to carry special tools. Both sides have stop screws. Fit well even with my OEM screen guard. You cannot go wrong with this L-bracket. Bought it after looking at many brackets and glad I settled on this one.

Reels are easy to load, the top goes on and you are on your way. Couldn't be simpler.

This is a top quality case. The latches are secure but are easily operated. The case itself is tough and well constructed. The pull handle extends smoothly and the wheels are vibration free.

Very well made, Absolutely top notch! I especially like the fact that it can be battery operated as well as ac. Its ability to bi-color is nice

This is a great sounding, battery operated unit that is built like a tank. It is in the same league with the other top notch Sound Devices products. Even if a bit pricey, it is worth the money. No regrets at all with this purchase.

Someone please tell me any other film washer better than this.

Beats scrounging for a quarter!

The Denecke JB-1 T/C sync box is one of the best, because it is easy to use, small in size and very reliable.

This is being used a redundant back up and has operated as expected so far.
