Jbl 305P Studio Monitors Review

Purchased two JBL 305P MKII studio monitors for a computer room studio, driven by external DAC and Amplifier with HI-RES flac wav source music files. I am really enjoying the outstanding high fidelity sound. 5 |

I wanted to replace my monitors and I was recommended that I should try the JBL 305P and am I so glad that I did. The sound is so crisp with and makes for a must have if you're doing voice over work. They are also small enough to put on my desk. I highly recommend these monitors. 5 |

I recently purchased the JBL 305P MkII Powered 5 Two-Way Studio Monitor, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. As someone who values high-quality sound for both music production and casual listening, this monitor has truly impressed me. The clarity and precision of the speaker is outstanding. The 5 woofer delivers a deep, rich bass response, while the 1 tweeter ensures crystal-clear highs. The sound is incredibly balanced, providing an accurate representation of my mixes. The build quality of the JBL 305P MkII feels solid and durable. The monitor is compact and fits perfectly on my desk without taking up too much space. Despite its size, it is surprisingly powerful and can fill a room with clear, detailed sound. 5 |

I've only had the stands for a week or so. I put them with a pair of JBL 305P MkII Powered 5 Two-Way Studio Monitors. This combination seems to work well together. This is just a short term review so I'll update it in the future if any problems come up. 5 |

I bought this subwoofer to enhance my current JBL 305P MkII speakers. The sound produced is sweet. Deep, round bass and powerful to boot. Quite satisfied with my purchase at sale price. 5 |

I recently received a pair of the JBL 3 MK II monitors for my birthday for my home studio. These monitors deliver great sound quality! They were set up in a matter of minutes and enabled me to hear the work that I have recorded without using headphones. The sound is crisp and clear and I highly recommend them. 5 |

This is a great kit for hooking up your laptop to pristine studio monitors. It's all there and at a fair price. But most importantly, these JBL's sound terrific. They produce accurately and without strain. You can certainly spend more on 8" monitors and to some ears and on paper others may seem better, but to me, these JBL's look good enough on paper and sound fabulous in my studio. I would heartily recommend them. 5 |

This has an awesome sound for it's size. I have used JBL in the professional environment and have JBL studio monitors as my home stereo speakers. This sounds right in line with my other JBL experiences. Just wish it has a tube amp inside. 5 |

The best bluetooth I've purchased to date, familiar with JBL products, used their studio monitors for years and several club speakers as well. 5 |

It took me a few minutes to dial in the JBL, but once I figured that out it sounds smooth and complimented my setup perfectly. I'm not sure why anyone in a studio setting would want to use anything but the 80hz crossover. It had PLENTY of power, in fact, it's set to about 40 percent power to balance out with my studio monitors. Folks that say it doesn't have enough power need to turn down the gain of their monitors. The whole idea of a studio sub is not to blow you away (which this can certainly do) but rather to compliment (extend the frequency range of) the monitors. It does this very well. If you don't use this balance, your mixes will not be accurate may result in them being low-frequency deprived. I can easily switch between sub + crossovered monitors to monitors with no crossover with my Mackie 1642VLZ4 mixer. I just use a subgroup output to isolate my monitors without the sub. What makes this possible is that the HS8 monitors have 2 inputs, so your miles may vary. When dialing your sub in, remember that less is more. I've found this to be true in just about every facet of life. Happy Mixing. 5 |
