[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Portable Speaker! For a small speaker, this JBL really does a great job. It's bass is stronger than I would have expected. It also has good volume for the footprint. It was very easy to connect to my phone via Bluetooth.

The jbl clip 4 is the best portable speaker I have ever known there is no speaker like this one good job jbl for your hard work.

Extremely impressed with the JBL Flip 6. I highly recommend this portable mini speaker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! The first word that comes to mind when I cracked open the new JBL Clip 5 from Harman. How can all that sound come from such a small package?!? Let me explain... The new and revised Clip 5 offering from JBL offers many upgrades from previous models including better battery life, connectivity, and a larger/durable 'clip' (carabiner) opening to accommodate more areas in which to use this roughly 6x4x2 inch speaker! The sound is potent with punchy bass emitting from a frequency range of 95hz-20Khz. The sound is nothing short of astounding but also lives up the the JBL reputation of bigger isn't always better. The small palm-of-your-hand sized frame (which is dust and WATER proof) is rugged and can take abuse from most any outdoor activity in which it is used. Battery life is up to 12hrs with an additional 3hrs of playtime when you turn Playtime Boost (in the JBL Portable App) to the off setting... all this with just a minimal 3 hour charge time from a supplied USB-A to USB-C connecting cable. The cable is short but does the trick and you must supply a wall USB-A compatible charging block yourself. The speaker is able to be connected to other JBL Portable devices thru AuraCast and the JBL app for a complete party on the go.. whether you're fishing, swimming, beaching, off-roading, partying, or just relaxing.. it just works! I did have trouble when first trying to connect the speaker to the JBL Portable App but soon discovered a quick update of the App fixed all connectivity issues. The Clip 5 does come in a variety of colors but whatever the color... this thing just ROCKS! The main use I have for the speaker is in my shower. My mornings are started with a bang from this potent little monster! Well worth every penny just as other JBL speakers I have in my collection. The JBL/Harman name is simply synonymous with quality sound and craftsmanship!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Requested this because I wanted decent music player to use outside by the pool. I've used other JBL wireless speakers for this purpose and I've always felt that I wanted a little bit more volume and bass than they were able to provide. When the party box arrived, I was immediately impressed by how substantial it was. It appeared solidly-built and had a good weight to it. Not too heavy, but it let you know that there was a serious speaker inside. I couldn't wait to turn it on. It quickly paired with my phone via Bluetooth and the music started pouring out. This thing really blew me away. All the volume you could ask for along with tight bass. To raise the bar a little bit more, the front of the speaker lights up with an adjustable array of light that circles the speaker cone. Very cool Extra Touch in my opinion. I took it outside play sit next to the pool and walked across the yard to hear how loud it was. As I turned the volume up I realized that there was no way I was going to be able to max this thing out without having the police called. This thing was stylish and a monster at the same time. I found myself playing all different types of music just to hear how good this thing really was.. and it is that good. If you're looking for a Wireless speaker to take you to the next level, this is for you. I failed to mention it has a nice carry handle integrated into the top of the speaker making it very easy to pick up and move around. This thing would be great for tailgates, the beach, the pool or any other outdoor activity. In fact I use it in my house quite a bit as my main music source because I like the lights so much. No going wrong with this one. JBL continues to impress me with it's audio products. I would definitely recommend this highly to just about anyone looking for a substantial boombox.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am biast. Lets be clear on this. When I got my hands on this, I was excited that JBL made an authentics line bluetooth speaker. How much better could it be? Well, this speaker kicks. Blare it as loud as it can go and it will not leave you sad. Soooo freaking clear. Not as punchy as my JBL Boombox 3, but this is not meant to be that animal. Don't get me wrong, it still hits. Clarity and detail are most definitely it's goals. And it does it. I love the seperate bass and treble knobs. The light up progression bars are sweet for knowing how you are cranking it. It's covered in some really high end feeling materials. You are not taking this to the beach. You could, but it would be for cocktails, caviar and I can't believe how pretensious this person sounds. Love the authentics grille. It's JBL's thing. And they did it well. Bluetooth pickup is fantastic. I can walk a good distance away and have many obsticles inbetween me and the speaker without any breakup. So it has that going. I wish it hit a little harder with the bass. But there is a bigger version that would probably take care of that issue. But it still hits hard. I want an 11. This is a 8.5, 9ish. No walls shaking, but such a complimentary punch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first opened this, I thought to myself, “this is not portable”. I planned on only giving us four stars because of that. Now that it sits at my desk, I am completely satisfied. This is not an item to just take around to different areas in the house or outside. This is a Time piece, this is a stationary speaker that has multiple functions and can sit at your desk, sit on your mantle, or put on display. This is a beautiful piece of equipment. The sound is crisp and clear. It is is undeniably perfect. The aesthetics is pleasing as well, the feel, the look, the sound is all there for you. It has a wide range of capabilities and adjustments for treble and bass. Which is nice. I can’t say enough about the sound it is absolutely fantastic. If you want bass it is there. You can adjust it and it can meet any type of music’s requirements. It looks fantastic at my desk, and I am very happy to own this. Since it sits at my desk, I don’t have to turn this up very loud, but when I do it consumes the whole room. It looks very retro. The size is not huge yet it gets attention Because of its original look. The JBL Authentics 200 did a great service to honor the old school looking speaker while implementing new school technology. 5 stars, great job JBL

This JBL speaker has great Bass, highs, and mid tones and they will not fall of your ears even if you are jumping around
