I am very impressed by the JBL Charge 5 capabilities. It has good spatial characteristics for a medium sized portable Bluetooth speaker. One of my favorite aspects of the JBL is that I can control the bass, mid-tones, and treble using the app downloaded from the Play Store. The equalizer is effective. I would suggest some type of carry case for it - maybe JBL has one?

I love the sound of my JBL CHARGE 5 speaker it’s portable so I can listen to music every where I go , I recommend this speaker you won’t be disappointed

I just bought one of the JBL Charge 5 portable speakers. I had never seen one or heard one before now. I read a bunch of reviews of several different makes & models. To be honest, I went with JBL because a friend of mine in California has one and likes his. OMG! I took it out to the lake and I was freaking amazed at how good it sounds!! No kidding. I'm not easily impressed. I figured it would just be a step up from tinny iPhone speakers. Wrong! It thumped! **doing my happy happy joy joy dance** I like it when I feel like I've made a good decision when I buy stuff.

Nice replacement for JBL Charge 3, wish it fit in JBL Charge 3 case, Charge 4 is slightly bigger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving these JBL Earbuds I had to charge up the case. They were easy to connect to my IPhone through the Bluetooth function. Each time when I pulled the earbuds from the case, they were connecting when I put them in my ears. My old cheep earbuds, I had to play with it several minutes for them to connect. These are well made and fit into my ears very well. It comes with several size ear pieces that can be exchanged so they will fit your ears perfectly. I’m very satisfied with the way they fit in my ears. Quality sound: the quality of these earbuds is that they have a deep rich sound. You can distinguish the difference sounds between the instruments. If you download the JBL app you can also adjust the sounds for your own listening pleasures. After a week of using them, the case charge is down to 55%. Anytime you place the earbuds in the case they will recharge so when you need them they are fully charged and ready to go.

To make best use of the microphones features and customization, JBL recommends downloading their JBL Headphone app via the Apple app store or Google play store. The app lets you download the latest firmware and offers more control over the mic’s settings. You can adjust gain, noise cancellation, EQ settings, auto off timer, LED light adjustment as well. A simple press of a button on the mic mutes it and turns the indicator light solid red letting you know it’s muted. I tested the mic and it was able to block out background noise very well especially when compared to my phones internal mic. It offers a combined 24 hour charge, 6 hours for the mic and 18 hours for the charging case. Another great feature is the ability to charge your phone while in use as the receiver has both a male USB-C for plugging into you phone as well as a female USB-C for plugging in your charger as it allows pass through charging. The quick charge capability will allow a 15 minute charge to provide one hour of use. The charging case requires 2 hours to fully charge from dead. If you plan on using it outdoors throw on the provided windscreen which allows for crystal clear audio while reducing wind noise. They just connect to your device upon picking the JBL vibe buds from the drop-down in your Bluetooth menu of your device. That’s all. They sound is off the charts. It’s so crisp and clear that they are truly superb. They come with different size tips so they fit perfectly in anyone’s ears. They are so light and comfortable, sometimes I forget I’m even wearing them. Unlike other pricier buds, they don’t fall out of your ears at all. The buds click inside the case for charging and the case holds charge itself after charging it up. The case holds charge for days and the buds stay charged for hours and hours. I use them everyday and in only charge the case once a week. Twice at the very most. The have ambient control so you can hear in the background if you need to. JBL has an app for easier use, ambient controls, an equalizer and more. I love the you can control volume and pause just by tapping your buds. The buds automatically pause if you take one out which is so awesome. You can also take phone calls thru your buds, which is also a big plus. The quality of JBL vibe buds is excellent. I’m sure the way I take care of things, but, even if you’re careless, these buds are gonna last you. Overall, I love everything about JBL vibe bugs and I highly recommend.
