Most gaming headphones I have tried seem to be cheap, uncomfortable, heavy, or some variation of the 3. These headphones, however, aren’t that way. They’re sturdy, but also lightweight and prove to be comfortable for long use sessions. The sound quality is pretty good for the price, and thus I have no complaints. The addition of the USB dongle to allow for use with consoles that don’t fully support bluetooth is very nice. My only gripe is that I can’t pair them directly via bluetooth to my switch or phone. Another thing I appreciate about these headphones are the design. Most gaming headphones are either really flashy with crazy LED lights, or really bold with crazy shapes and corners on the ear cups. These headphones aren’t that way. They’re sleek, with only the JBL logo lighting up. Some may prefer the more crazy designs or the flashy lights, but I personally prefer the more subtle design these headphones offer. Overall, these headphones are great for your light to more heavy gamer out there. I would definitely recommend these as either a gift for someone who likes to game a lot, or for yourself if you enjoy gaming but don’t want flashy headphones.

The quantum surround sound will give you the surround sound experience and is the best part of the headphones. You can customize your sound experience with the app. The microphone works perfect.The headphones worked perfect with my Xbox One. This headset gives immersive gaming experience you need. Negatives: None but if nitpicking, the sound cable can be little longer.

These JBL gaming headphones bring to life any games that I play, be it on a PC or PS4(compatible with Xbox 1 too). The sound quality is immense and crisp, the headphones provide a comfortable wear with its luxury soft ear pads whilst at the same time noise cancelling and 3D audio. The head tracking on these headphones allows better reaction time and placement in games, when tilting the head to a certain direction the sound on that side becomes clearer as if you were in the game. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this JBL Tune 520 BT headphones for about 10 days. So far the best for the price in terms of build quality, sound quality, features and options it has. The box is included with the cable for charging. The best part is it has a JBL app supporting these headphones using which we can customize some of the settings and the setup is very easy. Coming to wearing it for a longer time is also good without any complaints with its long-lasting battery and feather kind of light weight. Coming to sound quality and bass is great for the price. It has the option of a multipoint connection, like connecting to 2 devices at a time and switching between them, but I found it a little hard to switch and there was no clear info about it. Other than that, the rest of the things are absolutely great.

From the moment you unbox them you feel like you are getting a premium experience. JBL has one of the best unboxing presentation. The headphones look amazing and the blue that I received from the JBL backstage pass to review is on fire. The fabric headband looks amazing and adds comfort as well. The JBL 500BT is packed with features. Google Assistant and Alexa work flawless. Having an assistant on headphones is very useful. More useful than I thought. Another useful feature is the multi connection button. You can toggle from one device to another with just a hit of a button. This is very convenient and useful. The most useful feature for me is the ambient aware. On top of all these features the headphones sound amazing. They are on the bass heavy side. Somehow, they are well rounded with a wide sound stage. I listen to a wide range music and everything sounded amazing. Also, there is an app that you can dial in the sound that you want. The comfort is good. The ear cups made my ears a little hot after a while. But I was able to keep them on for long time with no discomfort then that. The only short coming with these is phone call quality. It is not good at all. There were times that I needed to take a call on my phone and disconnect from the headset because the person could not hear me. But These headphones are great at this price. If something happened to these cans today, I would buy them tomorrow without question. So, no doubt get these cans people!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another great product from JBL. JBL Tune 520BT Headphones are very well designed and simple to use. Very well packaged as well as graphics on box. The moment I unboxed I realized these were solidly built and designed which I am accustomed to from JBL. Packaging was on point with a quick and easy setup manual. Headphones were charged and ready go right out of the box. Easy to setup and connect to blue tooth. The Tune 520BT sound was very good from a basic easy to use headphones. They seemed to block out surrounding noise. I would like to try on a flight and see how they perform. I definitely believe if your looking for well priced and easy to use headphones with good build and sound quality these are a no brainer. The only negative is I wish they came with a better storage bag or case for protection when not in use or putting them in a book bag. These would be great for kids and teens. I definitely will use as my go to headphones.

They are pretty simple, basic gaming headphones with all the features you need and none that you don't. When you first get the headphones, give them around 20 hours of burn in / usage time and the sound will become exceptional for gaming and movies. You won't be disappointed, especially for the price! Pros: 1. Balanced Sound Quality: These headphones are definitely mid and high centric for sound details in gaming and movies, however the bass gets better over time. Clean, clear and balanced would be a way to describe it. 2. Clear Microphone: The mic is super easy to use with the easy flip mute on and off. It has great sound quality with very little background noise. My online teams remarked on how clear my mic sounds now. Everything in the volume is super easy to get adjusted and dialed in. 3. Great Price: The value of these headphones is a bit beyond the retail price they are asking. This is a tough set of headphones for the price and I really can't ask for more in the value department! Its got decent sound, great microphone, rugged build quality and simple to use. Cons: Require break in to get the full sound quality. Just use them and over around 20+ hours, everything goes from okay sounding to beyond decent. Just use them and expect the sound to get better and better. Other than that, I have no complaints! All in all, I think this is definitely a great budget minded gaming headset. They have all the right features and nothing beyond that. Super comfortable with durable design, long cable, intuitive controls and clean sound. A simple, quality pair of headphones that will last and get you thought the game with ease. Way to go JBL!

I needed an additional set of headphones. I knew HyperX was a gaming brand. At the price point I never expected the quality that come with his headphones. I definitely would recommend. 10/10
