Its rugged design and long battery life make it an ideal companion for outdoor adventures or on-the-go listening. The speaker features a single driver that produces clear and balanced sound with impressive bass response for its small footprint. This really surprised me as I tried different types of music and it always produced clear and enjoyable sound. The JBL Go 4 promises a battery life of up to 7 hours, allowing for extended listening sessions without the need for frequent charging. Its IPX7 waterproof and dustproof rating protects it against spills, rain, and accidental drops. The speaker's durable fabric cover and rugged rubber exterior provide additional protection from the elements. I was able to use it for almost 7 hours on several occasions, so it lives up to its rating. Recharging it is also easy and fairly quick, since it uses a standard USB-C type charging cable. I haven’t found a speaker this size that has a better mid-range. I’ve tried many others, even the JBL Go 3, the JBL Clip 4… but this one always wins out. Whatever driver they put in this speaker is quite frankly the best they could’ve put in for watching shows and movies. Other speakers can get loud, but the balance always favors bass and the lower end over the mid-range. The result is the drowning out of vocals even at high volume. But not this one. The JBL Go 2 is actually backwards- the bass is there but not overpowering, and the mids are extremely strong. That’s what makes this the ideal speaker for watching shows and videos with vocals. You don’t have to be at max, or even near max, to hear the voices come out clearly. When I use my other similarly-sized speakers, I often have to crank them to max to get the vocal volume I want. This is a great speaker that I hope they keep manufacturing. It has a good place on JBL’s lineup, even with the more rugged JBL Go 3’s existence.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Go 4 in the box… the speaker and a 12” charging cord, quick start guide booklet and safety instruction/warranty booklet. It takes 3 hours to charge and in return you get a 7 hours power life. JBL Go 4 is the ideal size speaker for on the go fitting perfectly in your hand and comes with a small loop that can be used to attach a hook and clip to bags or whatever you would like. Set up took less than a minute, only 2 steps and was extremely simple. While the size of the speaker may be small the sound is mighty! The sound is crystal clear even at the maximum volume, it does not become distorted. With the app you are able to control the equalizers on your speaker for your own personalized pleasure. The design is aesthetically pleasing and durable. One of my favorite features is that this speaker is waterproof (1m for a duration of 30 minutes) which makes it perfect for taking to the pool or beach. I love my JBL Go 4 the sound is incredible and an easy and convenient speaker to bring the music party where ever you go.

I am so happy I bought the JBL Charge 4, it’s everything that I wanted in a Bluetooth speaker. It’s my first time with JBL and it did not disappoint me in any way.

I got this the blue JBL Clip 4 as a birthday gift from a WONDERFUL friend. It was such an exciting surprise to receive this speaker and I have been using it NON-stop since receiving the gift. SO HUGE shout out to my friend ;) for the awesome gift. Now to share more about why this speaker is great: 1) SUPERB sound quality for such a small speaker 2) Great battery life - I am just needing to charge now after 2 days of listening for many hours 3) I hear it is waterproof (that’s cool - haven’t tried it out yet) 4) Love the blue color!! 5) The clip is durable and big enough to fit on most things 6) SUPER easy to pair. Overall I just love it and am so thankful to my wonderful friend for the thoughtful gift 3

I absolutely love, love my new flip 6 JBL speaker! The new improved upgraded woofer.. Makes my music and my podcasts sound more crystal clear than ever before! I highly recommend getting one to enhance your listing experience!! I absolutely love the color of the blue speaker too. I was expecting a dark dull color. Wrong!! It is a darker color. But, not really the blue color I was expecting. It's more of a darker teal color. My favorite color!!

I bought this for my wife since she kept taking my JBL Charge 4 because her cheap blue tooth speaker sounded horrible and wouldn't last long on a charge.

This portable smart speaker goes everywhere with me. Much better quality sound than JBL, Beats and Aztec. The Bluetooth range is amazing combined with the Wi-Fi Alexa or your favorite streaming platform makes me want to buy another 1 and link them throughout my entire home.
