[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Pulse 5 is AMAZING! I recommend it for anyone who is looking for a smaller size speaker with great sound and a great lightshow to boot. My daughter used this for a party at our house recently and the kids went wild over the lights. JBL's app let's you control the lights with your phone. Another big plus! The sound is JBL crystal clear. The Pulse 5 stayed charged for the entire party and there was no need to charge the next day either. It is supposed to have 12 hours of play time, but we did not let it go dead. I love the carry strap. It looks like a large coffee cup when not plugged in! No need to worry about rain. This speaker is water resistant. It looks SUPER COOL! I recommend it for anyone, but especially anyone with a child at college. This is also a great dorm speaker. I'm buying one for both my girls.

I had the JBL Pulse 3 and I decided to upgrade. Y'all! This speaker is amazing! I love the way it looks, the light show is awesome. The sound is great, perfect tones and doesn't distort if you turn it up. I love how heavy it is. The only thing I don't like is that the light show doesn't seem to sync to the music, it's more random than on beat, even if you adjust the light show speed. But I would definitely buy this speaker again. Love it.

This portable smart speaker goes everywhere with me. Much better quality sound than JBL, Beats and Aztec. The Bluetooth range is amazing combined with the Wi-Fi Alexa or your favorite streaming platform makes me want to buy another 1 and link them throughout my entire home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL brings back the cool-retro look from the 70’s with this amazing look and quality sound speaker. The authentics 200 is th least expensive out of the three that are available in this line. There is also a authentics 500 and an authentics 300 as well. Upon opening the box initially, it is packaged quite well, with the speaker being wrapped in a white felt. Felt super classy. The authentics 200 needs to be plugged into the mains, so it is not as portable as other Bluetooth speakers. It’s a little on the heavy side, weighing in at 6.9 pounds. This speaker is paired your typical way through your phones Bluetooth settings. It’s also operational through the JBL one app (not the orange regular jbl app). As soon as it powers up it makes this amazing sound. It’s quite satisfying. The set of controls, volume, treble, bass, favorite (heart) and Bluetooth on top of the unit are very straight forward. Simple and unique but quite functional. You can stream music wirelesslv via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth or use voice control to access Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. It has the ability to connect via AirPlay, which I found useful. You can also play music in multiple rooms and enjoy the automatic self-tuning that optimizes the sound for any room. On the back of the unit there is an aux in, usb-c and Ethernet. Overall this speaker is amazing! It sounds better than any other speaker I have owned in this price range. I absolutely love the simplistic yet functional look. If you’re not sure about buying this, go for it. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boombox 3 is really amazing ! First it truly has that full bodied sound that a really much larger speaker has. Second I used the JBL portable app and customized the sound through equalization and it sounds incredible, the app is a very good tool to use with this speaker. Thirdly this speaker although heavy is easy to carry around with the sturdy handle provided. We used it at the pool instead of turning on our main pool bar speaker system which is JBL also. It is very portable and very loud if you turn it up but it still sounds awesome at lower volumes and provides that full punchy sound. It is waterproof and that means were taking it to the beach baby! By far this is my new best bluetooth speaker that I will use and enjoy for a very long time. The battery is strong and has held a charge for I know at least 6 hours of play. JBL did it again and hit this one out of the park excellent quality bluetooth speaker that I highly recommend!

I love the feel and sound of my JBL Bluetooth speaker. I have been researching Bluetooth speakers for 6 months and after a lot of reading and comparing, I chose this one. It has a full-bodied sound, easy to carry about the garden when I'm weeding. I can't wait to buy a second one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Authentics 500 was absolutely breathtaking right out of the box. Quick and easy pairing via Bluetooth made for a fast startup, and then song after song was incredible to listen to from a relatively portable speaker. The first thing noticed was the cool, retro vibe of the speaker - not as common anymore but a welcome addition to any room and much more subtle than many of today's speakers. Trying to test the full range, this speaker performed magnificently from classical music with piano solos, to guitar riffs in rock and metal, to room-shaking bass in rap. The volume, bass and treble controls on top of the speaker are easily tuned and have a great light feature which indicates the level (i.e. the higher either of these are turned, the more full the circle of light becomes). Playing drastically different styles of music allows the listener to easily hear why the product is so amazing: the three tweeters, three midrange woofers and large subwoofer create an immersive sound experience, no matter what is being played. Additionally, this speaker performs amazingly well when paired with a TV/entertainment center. When paired with Bluetooth to the streaming service, watching movies became a delight and provided rich, deep sound with stunningly clear audio for voices and sound effects. Aside from the music quality, the WiFi integration on the Authentics 500 allows for automated assistants to be readily available (also accessible via ethernet port in the rear of the unit). While the price of the Authentics 500 is near or higher than some similarly-sized speakers in the market, the look, quality and value of JBL continues to exceed expectations and this is no exception. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to invest in a great, long-term, high quality speaker to enjoy throughout the home for years to come.
