Jbl Reflect Aware Noise Cancelling Headphones

Great concept, great design. Love the headphones. The opposite of noise cancelling. These allow you be aware of your surrounds while you listen to music.

Have 2 other Bose Noise-Cancelling headphones over the years and I always felt somewhat disappointed in the quality of the noise cancelling, but figured this is what it is. Now I know differently. These Sony headphones literally shut down nearly all the noise where I can't hear anyone talking to me and priced reasonably, unlike the Bose or Apple headphones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking for some good wireless ear buds that I could use while exercising that would stay in. My last ear buds would constantly fall out while exercising especially the more intense the exercise. These ear buds have little shark fins that really engage the ear and lock them in. They have not disappointed at all. Even while running on the treadmill they stay solid. I was even more impressed with the technology, which I didn't realize they had when I purchase, that includes the ability to toggle on and off the noise cancelling and ambient aware via the JBL app. I had my son at the park the other day and was listening to a pod cast, the wind was blowing so hard I could hear it through the head phones. I toggled on the noise cancelling and it minimized the wind noise by more than 70-80%. Also the ambient aware is very useful for ear buds since they can block out most noise around you. You toggle it on to better hear your surroundings if you need to be aware of that. They also have the ability to sync with your google assistant or amazon alexa, which i use all the time. Anyway I would highly recommend these! They have been the best ear buds have owned!

I am impressed with its call clarity and noise cancellation technology.. Ive had several other noise cancelling headphones by Bose (QC35 II) and Beats (Studio Wireless) and I always hailed Bose as king of Noise Cancelling headphones. Now the only thing that Bose has over Sony is the durability of the headphones, my Bose headphones I could pretty much bend however I wanted and they wouldn't break. The Sony's are a bit more stiff, but the material is still premium! I originally went with Bose because of their comfort though, I like to wear my headphones for an extended period of time and the old Sony's (XM1 and XM2) got uncomfortable after a few hours. With the new design however, I can see myself wearing these all day! What does Sony have to offer that's better than Bose? - Noise cancelling (much better) - Sound quality - Battery life - Customization through app - Accessories (better quality auxiliary charger cords, as well as a good airplane adapter!!) - USB-C Charger!!! (as a MacBook Pro owner this was a must, I hated micro-usb so much) - Comfort? (I'm still testing this out but ill update in a few weeks if its better or on-par with the Bose QuietComfort 35 ii)

With COVID-19 and the stay at home order Noise Cancelling Headphones became a necessity for me. I tried a competitor's headphones and decided they were not good enough I could still hear everyone talking. Then I bought these. Amazing sound quality, lightweight, easy pairing, power saving, noise cancelling is wonderful! I can't hear a thing that's going on outside of the headphones.
