Jbl Speaker Flashing Red Light While Charging

It seems like an amazing speaker! I bought it directly from JBL According to JBL‘s website I should be questioning its authenticity because the wire that was included with my charge 4 appears to be counterfeit according to JBL I received a black charging wire that was round instead of flat with twist tie around it, instead of a flat red one. Right on their website they are calling that a red flag and a counterfeit Do I really think it is counterfeit? No But maybe the right hand should know what the left hand is doing at JBL and maybe they should fix their warnings on their website, and at the very least they should send me a flat JBL charging cable! The speaker sounds amazing and I would definitely recommend it. In the future I would wish that JBL would include an equalizer in the app or someway to turn the bass down and I would love to see a small dedicated remote that adjusts the volume and forward and back tracks. A small handle for carrying would also be nice and maybe a small pocket inside the speaker stuff the cable into.

Bright white light is very bright. Red/red-flashing light is cool -- not sure if I'll ever use it. Good fit and balance (with batteries in back). Lightweight and comfortable. Looks suitably geeky. Very happy with my purchase.

This is a very nice headlamp, without two levels of white light, a red light and a flashing red light.  Having the battery pack on the back makes it much easier to balance and the straps are adjustable over a wide range.

My APC UPS sounded off every few hours with beeps and a flashing red light to let me know it was time to replace the battery. I ordered online and the battery arrived sooner than expected. I installed it and it's been working fine since. The part I especially like, I didn't have to shut everything off to install.

This speaker did not disappoint! I own two JBL Charge 2 models that we use outdoors in the summer by the pool that have worked very well. Charge 5 Speaker is waterproof so we don’t have to worry about splashing or dropping it in the water. The new speaker’s sound blows them away. This model is slightly bigger and heavier, but that’s due to the new speakers. The sound is incredible! From listening to rock, pop, country, etc. to the vocals that are crisp and clear. Bass comes through loud with the volume cranked up! This speaker works just as well outdoors as well as indoors. Price is affordable and about what you would expect to own a quality versatile speaker. Comes with a USB charging cord for easy re-charging, you can expect 15-20 hours use before needing a recharge.

but it is unsettling to have the upstream light flashing

I keep the Poly-Steel 700 in my truck because of the fact it has the red flashing light on it. If I would have trouble I can just turn it on and stick it to the truck since it also has a magnet. It has the zoom on the front end and all the lights are bright. I have several Coast lights and all of them are high quality and well designed. I will always be a Coast customer. The warranty and customer service is second to none.

I bought this so I could be in more pictures with my kids! Totally beats running back and forth from the tripod to race the flashing red light!
