Jbl Speaker Waterproof Test

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Clip 5 is a truly amazing small compact speaker with a big punch. The JBL Clip 5 connected very easily via bluetooth and using the JBL portable app, you can now customize your EQ and connect multi-speakers. The sound is very clear with a balanced highs and a nice punchy bass. It has an IP67 waterproof rating, and I have used it in the shower. I can honestly say it's waterproof. I like the big clip on it, so it hooks securely to my backpack. The the power and controls are easy to push. JBL has gone another level with this small compact speaker. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'll give it a 9 rating for sound, convenience, and portability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was amazed by the JBL Charge5. It has great weight to the speaker. I love that the speaker was wrapped in a cloth to keep it beautiful and protected in the box.  The instructions and a cord comes in a flimsy box. But overall it was in nice and sturdy packaging. Of course I took the instructions out and noticed it says waterproof. However I did not test out that claim I cant wait to place this in the bathroom and test out how well this speaker will work out for us.  I turned on the speaker and was able to make a quick Bluetooth connection to my phone. The Charge5 is loud, which I did not expect for it to sound so good while being all the way turned up. A lot of speakers I’ve had become distorted but not the Charge5. The sound stayed clear and there is a party boost on this speaker to make the sounds better for each song or sound you play on the Charge5 with more speakers you attach. The Charge5even charges your phone even while playing what you want on the speaker.  I was really hoping that I could try to connect this to my TV. However I think my TV is being stubborn and will not connect to the Charge5. I am glad I got this speaker. My daughter now wants one and we like music when taking showers so this speaker. This will make a great gift for her. Another great product made by JBL. Another happy customer.

I've been a JBL person for many years, but I must say that putting this speaker next to my JBl JRX112M (the same speaker configuration), blew me away. I never thought JBL could be surpassed. I was wrong. This EV speaker did it. As a pro musician for many years, I rate this at the top 3 speakers in it's class, if not the top of the heap. I love the light weight for transporting, as I have to move my equipment 5 nights per week in Las Vegas. The sound reproduction is great. It actually put out more volume at the same mixer setting than the JBL. There are two things I would like to see changed. The handles should be on top (as the JBL), not on the sides. This will make the speaker easier to grab and load into a vehicle, instead of bending over and reaching for the handle on the side. Another change I would like to see, is that the cabinet would have both Speakon and 1/4 inputs, as some mixers don't have Speakon outputs, therefore requiring you to buy an adaptor. The JBL has both Speakon and 1/4 inputs. Otherwise, this speaker is an excellent choice...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Portable Speaker! For a small speaker, this JBL really does a great job. It's bass is stronger than I would have expected. It also has good volume for the footprint. It was very easy to connect to my phone via Bluetooth.

Have had this JBL speaker about 2 weeks. Love the adjustable equalizer on the app. Speaker sounds loud & clear. Has great bass & lofty highs. Love cranking rock music from this speaker. Light show is an added benefit but secondary to the music quality. Sooo happy I bought it! Love this speaker.

Good cable, used with JBL speaker to my computer. Serves its purpose.
