I recently received a pair of the JBL 3 MK II monitors for my birthday for my home studio. These monitors deliver great sound quality! They were set up in a matter of minutes and enabled me to hear the work that I have recorded without using headphones. The sound is crisp and clear and I highly recommend them. 5 |

This is a great kit for hooking up your laptop to pristine studio monitors. It's all there and at a fair price. But most importantly, these JBL's sound terrific. They produce accurately and without strain. You can certainly spend more on 8" monitors and to some ears and on paper others may seem better, but to me, these JBL's look good enough on paper and sound fabulous in my studio. I would heartily recommend them. 5 |

This has an awesome sound for it's size. I have used JBL in the professional environment and have JBL studio monitors as my home stereo speakers. This sounds right in line with my other JBL experiences. Just wish it has a tube amp inside. 5 |

Purchased two JBL 305P MKII studio monitors for a computer room studio, driven by external DAC and Amplifier with HI-RES flac wav source music files. I am really enjoying the outstanding high fidelity sound. 5 |

The best bluetooth I've purchased to date, familiar with JBL products, used their studio monitors for years and several club speakers as well. 5 |

It took me a few minutes to dial in the JBL, but once I figured that out it sounds smooth and complimented my setup perfectly. I'm not sure why anyone in a studio setting would want to use anything but the 80hz crossover. It had PLENTY of power, in fact, it's set to about 40 percent power to balance out with my studio monitors. Folks that say it doesn't have enough power need to turn down the gain of their monitors. The whole idea of a studio sub is not to blow you away (which this can certainly do) but rather to compliment (extend the frequency range of) the monitors. It does this very well. If you don't use this balance, your mixes will not be accurate may result in them being low-frequency deprived. I can easily switch between sub + crossovered monitors to monitors with no crossover with my Mackie 1642VLZ4 mixer. I just use a subgroup output to isolate my monitors without the sub. What makes this possible is that the HS8 monitors have 2 inputs, so your miles may vary. When dialing your sub in, remember that less is more. I've found this to be true in just about every facet of life. Happy Mixing. 5 |

I use a pair of JBL 306P MkII's for studio monitors and for music playback, song accompaniment during guitar practice and pleasure listening. Really, for a set of reasonably priced powered monitors, they sound fantastic. I run them from my PC through a DAC directly to each speaker. Impressed by the sound and the build quality. Purchased and shipped directly from JBL. Great experience. Would buy again. 5 |

Using these stands to support large JBL nearfield studio monitors. Work quite well. Light weight and very stable. Easy to move around as needed. 5 |

I use this to provide input to a pair of JBL LSR308 powered studio monitors from my computer. Truly plug n play. Great sound quality. Only nit to pick is that the install would look cleaner if the USB and XLR connections were on the same face. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This home speaker blew my mind the moment I unboxed the JBL Authentics 500. It definitely has some weight and the size make it feel like a premium product. The metallic bronze finish and pattern on the speaker grill look very retro and fit in really well with the living room. Setting up the speaker was simple, connect the power cord to the speaker and connect it to the wall outlet. The quick start guide had me download the JBL One app to complete the setup. After pairing the device it prompted for a software update that took about 2 minutes to complete. A nice addition in the app is the option to set the EQ. It is nice that the speaker comes with an Ethernet port, in my case it's far from my router so I have to use WiFi. Google Assistant works well and it plays the music I want through my music subscriptions. I have another JBL speaker and I was able to easily use airplay to play the same music in multiple rooms. As far as volume, this speaker has plenty. I only went to about 50% and that more than enough to make the walls shake and sub could be felt in the walls a few rooms down the hall. Overall I'm really really really happy with this speaker. The only thing I don't like is the red LED light that comes on when I turn off the voice assistant microphone. I understand that this is to let the user know that the microphone is off but it would be nice if there was an update to turn off the LED status for when the mic is off. This way I don't see a red LED in the front speaker grill all day long. If you are thinking about purchasing it, do it. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Keep up the good work JBL! 5 |
