Jlab Metal Rugged In Ear Headphones Review

These are very nice headphones. I initially purchased them for my wife, who found them to be on the heavy side - so now I have them (and she received a pair of Bose headphones instead). The sound quality is great, battery life is great so far, and the all-metal build is reassuring. I had a cheaper pair of Philips headphones that these are replacing, and they were fine but these are much better. Every set of headphones I've had previously has eventually needed electrical tape to repair the separating ear cups, but the leather-covered memory foam that these have look to be a lasting combination. They definitely don't feel cheap, as the metal construction is very solid and reassuring. I'd definitely recommend these; only issue so far is the touch sensitivity of the ear pieces, which will stop a movie I'm watching if they brush agains the pillow behind my head. That takes a bit of getting used to!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first pair of wireless over the ear headphones and I am in love. They fit great, lightweight on my head with full coverage over my ears. The specs say 34 hour battery use. That doesn't mean a whole lot to me. I tend to judge battery usage by how annoying it is to recharge. I've found the battery usage on these headphones to be stellar. From my perspective I'm able to use these over and over and only rarely am I having to charge them. I couldn't be happier with these.

They don’t pull my hair when I take them off. The sound quality is wonderful. They are cordless so I can put them on when I’m doing the dishes or cleaning. I am very impressed with these headphones. Sony really makes quality products. They hold a challenge well. My husband likes them a lot and he’s an ear bud person. 10/10 would recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a very interesting pair of headphones, I initially grabbed them for me, but with my ear piercings, and the fact that they have a flat ear piece with no cut out, they didn’t work for me. They do the work really well for my eight-year-old when he’s listening to his audiobook from his iPad, and I don’t want to listen to Harry Potter on repeat! The Bluetooth connect quickly, the charge on it is fast, and it’s been a great addition to our road trip packing!

It's not just that the noise-canceling capability is phenomenal (it is), it's also that the sound quality is fantastic. When I tried them out at home, I was stunned with the sudden silence they provided before listening to music. When I tried them on an airline flight, they not only provided magnificent sound with the engine noise gone (not just reduced) but also helped create a relaxing environment for the trip. The right ear has touch controls; just swipe a finger up/down for volume and forward/back for next or previous song. Cover the ear to quickly deactivate noise-canceling to hear announcements or conversations whenever needed. These headphones are simple, easy, and intuitive, and they're everything you would expect from Sony.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones have a good sound quality which is what you look for first in headphones. The noise-isolation is also excellent. I particularly like the shape of the ear buds. They stay in your ears securely even while running. It comes with 2 additional ear tips, one smaller and one larger than the one that is installed when you receive it. The medium tips work fine for me. The ear tips were also very easy to take on and off, which isn’t always the case. The flat design of the cables keeps them from tangling in my purse or pocket. The cables feel very high quality. Since I often use only one ear bud while using the phone, the cable management feature is very convenient for keeping your cable from tangling or getting caught on other objects. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for quality listening and convenience.
