Jordan Montana Weather Underground

During the extreme cold weather (-35) here in Montana frost patterns emerged in our bedroom window. I used my old Canon 100mm macro USM lens on my Sony A7R3 with a Sigma MC-11 adapter. Ambient lighting was insufficient for handheld macro, but the ring light gave me a very useable ISO 1600 at 1/2000 at f8. I use high capacity rechargeable lithium batteries for optimum performance.

Jordan says this is the one for video. Nice range, great stabilization. I had the 18-55 for a while which I liked and later gave away. I like this one better.

We bought this Canon to replace a 10 year old Nikon because a Nikon was not available. We took off on a trip to Israel and Jordan right after getting it. We love the simplicity of operation and the quality of pictures. We are very happy with this camera. B&H service was excellent.

If you are looking for a way to raise your creative genius this lens will do for you what Beethoven did for classical music, what Jordan did for Basketball, what silicon did for the lusts of men. I was amazed how the lens coating prevents lens flare, and how sharp the focus is. The only anomaly I found is that I have to expose the shot a little longer, but that is easily compensated for. I highly recommend this lens, your kit is not complete without it.

I lost my camera charger cord during my trip to Israel and Jordan back in April, so I needed a way to recharge my battery. Once I got this unit, I was able to effectively recharge my camera battery. Now that the US and Israel have dropped the vaccination and covid testing requirements as of August 1st, I am going back to Israel and Egypt in October with my wife and another couple.

I bought this lens to be my walk around lens on a trip to Egypt, Jordan and Israel. I couldn’t have been happier. The size and weight was a perfect balance with the stellar performance. Crisp focus, great color rendition and easy to compose shots at various distances. It worked great for both landscapes and portraits. I highly recommend this lens.

I have never liked 2 catchlights til I saw Michael Jordan Smith use this as low fill in clamsell lighting It produces as second small catchlight at 6 o'clock that ads a bit of sparkle to the eyes, is smaller and darker than the main bdish or sbx and if I want I can easily remove it in post to yield more iris to work with.

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use.
