We have Fives in the living room, dining room, kitchen, and bedrooms. We have Surround in the den with the tv. We have Ones in the bathrooms, and a Move on the deck. The living room and dining room are connected, so we have those Fives set for stereo. It's wonderful to have music throughout the whole house when we are playing the same thing everywhere, like at Christmas. And it's great for me to be able to play my music in my "cave" downstairs while my wife plays hers upstairs. I have been amazed at the quality of sound (especially bass) that comes from the Fives. We couldn't be happier with our system.

We use both 5's in our open plan kitchen/living/dining room. They were easy to set up and the sound quality is outstanding. We only had a single speaker for a number of years and have always been very happy with it. I've been wanting to buy a second and now that we have, pairing them to produce stereo sound has taken the audio experience to a whole other level. I highly recommend the Sonos 5.

I can't stop telling all my friends about SONOS. I bought PLAY:5 to fill our kitchen & dining room with music. TrueTone tuning on iPhone is phenomenal and this speaker sounds sensational. It's replaced our B&W Zeppelin Air and we couldn't be happier! Will be back to buy more speakers for different rooms in our house. Wireless is truly, truly rock solid!!

Used in a large-ish kitchen / dining room but to be honest the sound produced is sufficient to fill a room 2-3 times larger! A terrific product with great all-round sound.

I have it set up in our in dining / kitchen, and use it when cooking (which I love to do) and entertaining. It's used all the time and is very reliable. Sound is great, clarity magnificent.

What a great speaker. Really fills the open floorplan of our home from the kitchen to the dining room. We have another speaker in the dining room that is set up to play softly while we're in there or to add to the orchestra while we are throwing a party. The Five is large, but it hides away against our white tile backsplash in the kitchen. People hear the music and often ask where it's coming from because it's so well hidden.
