as of 6-7-2020 only used a couple of times to stream, would be nice if manual or jvc website outlined what software or apps to use and how to create over lays and screen graphics not much info, so far it's a great camera. 5 |

I use this to shoot double system sync with Pocket Cameras and the JVC LS300. I don't attach it to the camera, but have my sound person use it on a strap in the old Nagra style, with the optional external battery supply made for it. We phantom power a Sennheiser 416 on a pole, without a mixer or preamp, and the audio is excellent for documentaries. Since I only record one channel in my type of work, the audio monitoring complaint doesn't affect me. In fact, I set it at dual record and get two identical channels, with one set at minus 6db for protection. It's a very light and small unit, a real pleasure to use - reminds me of the Walkman Pro days. 5 |

I needed a way to combine the audio from my Zoom H4 audio recorder and the video from my JVC camcorder, when I discovered I could use the Zoom as an external mic. I just needed a way to attach it to the hot shoe of the JVC. The Hot Shoe Adapter was the last piece of the puzzle. Now I have mo better audio than with my shotgun, and I also have a recorder. 5 |

So I was so mad when I first got it cuz it wouldn’t “fit” into my car vent.. but then I realized it’s a user error. Haha. But anyway, it’s a great product. Holds the phone well, doesn’t slide around, allows for various placement. Really thought through design! 5 |
