K950 Samsung Soundbar Remote App

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled with the Samsung S700D. I’ve been searching for a slim, minimalist soundbar with great sound as a replacement for a somewhat bulky (well known branded) bar that was several years old. I was also looking for a reasonable priced system. This is it. It is also a great looking soundbar. Set up was easy and took less than 20 minutes. Very clean and streamlined! No problem pairing via bluetooth to my non-Samsung television but I decided to use the soundbar via the ARC HDMI. In addition to its sleek profile, the sound quality is crisp and clean, and a huge improvement over my older system. The new soundbar has dramatically improved my home theater experience for watching movies or listening to music. The remote is well made and simple to use but the system can be controlled through Samsung’s app Smart Things. This works very well for me. The subwoofer is kind of big but I knew that before I purchased. One minor negative is not related to the system’s capabilities but to the documentation that came with the system. It basically just instructions for set-up and mounting the soundbar. It’s disappointingly very sparse. There was no spec sheet, feature explanations, or any mention of the app. I went to Samsung.com for more information but still could not find a complete manual for the system. I think this is an area where Samsung can improve. Overall, the S700D is a solid system, sounds great, looks terrific, and it’s easy to use. I am super pleased and I wound buy again.

No problem setting up and using the soundbar or the included remote or connecting to the app and to my cellphone via Bluetooth. The Best sounding soundbar I've ever heard, with True Dolby Atmos and Truespace technology leading the way. Music, movies and gaming sound are fabulous. A really modern looking unit too. A definite recommendation from me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung S50B soundbar is sleek and compact, with a bold and beautiful sound. This is definitely upgrading our movie night experience! It is perfect in size and with minimal affect to room design. Set up was easy and it comes with a wall mount kit. Easily pairs with our Q-Symphony Samsung TV so it combines the TV speakers with the sound bar speakers! It includes a remote although our Samsung TV remote works on both! If you’ve got a Samsung phone, you can walk right up to the soundbar and tap it on the top to play music directly from your phone! Be sure to turn on the option in the smart things app! The sound is clear, and what we were hoping for as we watch movies, play video games and play music in our home. Ideal for our needs for something compact that still provides quality sound—and without muffling of the dialogue!

Easy to use and does what we need. Since we already have a Samsung television, even the TV remote control keys adjust the soundbar volume! Now we can hear the television over the nearby furnace noise. Also I read that I can expand it to surround sound, though I haven't looked into that yet.

I was a bit skeptical at first as I thought the slimness of this soundbar may not produce good enough sound, however I was pleasantly surprised when I fired up one of the Marvel movies and the sound was pretty good! The subwoofer also did not disappoint, the deep bass was just enough for our living room. I liked the handy remote, and the soundbar sits unobtrusively with our TV and pumps awesome theatrical Dolby Atmos. I would definitely recommend this Soundbar to anyone looking to upgrade their sound system, as it is easily installed and ready to wow you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was previously using a standalone soundbar without a subwoofer from a different brand which wasn’t too bad but having the Samsung QN-95B 75” TV and knowing what the built-in TV speakers were capable off I was also missing out on using them until I discovered Q-Symphony that allows the TV Speakers to be used in addition to the soundbar. The Samsung HW-S700D Soundbar was a perfect fit was my living space and served this purpose extremely well. The Soundbar and Subwoofer was super easy to setup. Although wireless capable, I chose to use the HDMI cable provided and it was an instant detection and pairing. My Samsung TV automatically recognized the Q-Symphony compatibility and adjusted the sound accordingly for maximum balance and range. The SpaceFit Sound Pro worked its magic to utilize the position and space and adjust automatically even while watching content in real time. No other setup required. I moved the subwoofer to various positions, and ultimately had it next to the sofa which enhanced the bass and feel. The Soundbar and Subwoofer provide great sound levels with well-balanced Treble, Mid, and Bass levels. The bass was a much-needed addition and gave the overall feel a more realistic vibe specially when watching movies and certainly listen to music. The bar is super slim yet performed extremely well for its form factor. It took up much less space than other soundbars and the overall design is super sleek to blend in with my room decor.
