Karaoke Machine Numbers App

We use it mostly to connect SM58 to Pioneer Karaoke machine and match the impedence. Works great.

I bought my wife a Karaoke machine for Christmas which was two 1/4 microphone inputs on it. I was thinking how cool it would be to have wireless mics so people could hand them off as songs changed, instead of being limited by a cord, and having to swap seats. The WMS40 fit the bill PERFECTLY. I was a little concerned, with the low price, that the quality wouldn't be there, but the system is static free and sounds GREAT! I used balanced 1/4 cables (pulled from patchbay) to connect the microphone base unit to the Karaoke machine. The distance from the singers to the base unit is under 30 feet so I can't speak for the range of the unit.

I needed something fast for a public talk and I have no expertise in AV. This is basically a karaoke machine with 2 mics, super fast set up and was good to go in 5-10 minutes. It is completely adequate for speaking engagements. The speaker is a little larger than I would have liked but it was a good purchase for novices who just need to get up and going asap.

It's just perfect for what we need. Sound cranks. The microphone makes it an instant karaoke machine. Just great device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't have any speakers to compare it to, but my first impression was that it's super simple to set up. You plug it in to charge it and there's an app for it. I downloaded the app and had to update the software, which went smoothly. It connected through Bluetooth with no issues. Then I tested the volume, inside my house, and the volume blew my mind!! I kept thinking it was at its max level but it still kept going! I could FEEL the bass! The app is simple to use, very to-the-point with different light and sound options. I didn't even think about using it for karaoke until I saw that karaoke was a setting to use with a mic. In my video I didn't show that there's a pocket to put things in, which is convenient. The only thing I think would have made it even better is a cup holder. For a party speaker, I figured there would be one. Overall, it is definitely worth the price to me!

When setting up the ecobee thermostat, everything was simple until I got to the app. The problem with the app is that if you are on a time of use (TOU) program to lower your electrical cost, the app requires that you select an option that reflects your Peak use and TOU settings that you have established with your electric company. The problem I ran into is that the ecobee app requires thay you select one of the seven options that are associated with numbers. I contacted my electrical company, and they told me they don't know what those numbers are because they don't use those numbers. I then contacted ecobee and they told me that they only use what they are given by the power companies. I then called the power company again, and they told me again that they do not use those numbers and I even took a screenshot and sent it to them of my options and they don't know anything about those options. I called ecobee again and they informed me that they only sell the thermostats and they don't know anything more than what the power company gives them. Therefore, I am caught in the middle and unable to select any of those settings associated with my power company's TOU program. Ecobee explain to me what they thought the settings meant and gave me Block hours of 11 hour peak times. That is not possible because the peak hours are usually only 3 to 4 hours for power company, not 11 hours per day. You do not have to put in any of the codes, so therefore I am rating it five stars but just aware that until somebody comes up with the solution that associates the settings with what the company is actually providing for peak hours, it will still work but you just won't get it to automatically provide the savings for your TOU company programs. Alexa is pretty smart, but she is not as smart as Google.

I use this as a backup for my Mac using the Mac app Time Machine. It backup by itself (once plugged in) - I don't have to tell it to do so!
