Karaoke Pro Machine With Wireless Mics

I bought this so I could mix a couple of pro mics with a laptop for Karaoke into a TV surround system. It makes a portable Karaoke when we visit family.

I recommend this product for kids karaoke party with multiple mics.

Works with the Action 5 Pro, haven't tested if it works with the wireless mics yet.

We use it mostly to connect SM58 to Pioneer Karaoke machine and match the impedence. Works great.

My working computer is a MacBook Pro 13 2017 4-port. I am learning video editing and needed more screen real estate.  After researching prices for quality 4k monitor prices for my laptop, this iMac was only a few hundred $ more, and you have a new computer to boot.  This machine is blazingly fast compared to my MacBook, and verified when checked with geekbench's free version, which is to be expected with a newer machine, and the screen is beautiful.  My only complaint is with Apple not making the wireless keyboard with the same size keys and spacing as a MacBook. Going back and fourth between machines, as I do in my daily workflow, I find my fingers overshoot on the smaller wireless keyboard. The new Trackpad has some of the same feel issues as well. Use for my canon xha1 and audio-technica pro 88w wireless mics, inexpensive cable and seems to work great so far.

The Rode wireless mics work great with the iPhone 14 Pro. The audio is clean and they are easy to use.

This allows me to use by pro-level mics with the iPad. Works especially well with my wireless Sennheiser lav. The second jack is for headphones. The only issue is that you cannot monitor the audio while recording so you need to do a test recording first, listen to it, then make necessary adjustments. Once you're happy with the sound just go ahead and record the actual clip.

I bought my wife a Karaoke machine for Christmas which was two 1/4 microphone inputs on it. I was thinking how cool it would be to have wireless mics so people could hand them off as songs changed, instead of being limited by a cord, and having to swap seats. The WMS40 fit the bill PERFECTLY. I was a little concerned, with the low price, that the quality wouldn't be there, but the system is static free and sounds GREAT! I used balanced 1/4 cables (pulled from patchbay) to connect the microphone base unit to the Karaoke machine. The distance from the singers to the base unit is under 30 feet so I can't speak for the range of the unit.

I needed something fast for a public talk and I have no expertise in AV. This is basically a karaoke machine with 2 mics, super fast set up and was good to go in 5-10 minutes. It is completely adequate for speaking engagements. The speaker is a little larger than I would have liked but it was a good purchase for novices who just need to get up and going asap.
