Kata 3 In 1 22 Camera Backpack

I have used billingham 225 and kata backpack. This is the smallest and lightest bag in my lineup, for casual photo taking day. Just one camera mounted with standard zoom lens and extra lens will be in there, mostly. If necessary, there is still room for another lens or flash. Also, side pockets are great. Last, its design with rugged wear is just awesome. 5 |

I can load my Sony Hardshell Camera case, Soft-side Kata 110 camera bag, 2 tripods, a light case and a few gadget bags on this little wonder. Great investment for the one-man video show. 5 |

I bought this cover when Kata had the distro license - 5 or more years ago. Now Manfrotto makes it, but I would buy this again and again for every camera I own. Yes, it is awkward at first, but I shoot in rain, snow and on sandy beaches. In all cases, putting this cover on as I head outdoors in bad weather, or to the beach, has save my camera and lenses more times than I can count. You have to get used to leaving one hand 'inside' the bag and moving the other in and out. If you like 'live view' or shoot lots by using the back screen, then it may be awkward. I shoot viewfinder unless I am at an angle, on a tripod that's oddly positioned, or at an impossible height. Of course, with most wifi cams you can focus or aim over wifi if you are on a tripod. Handheld you have to get used to looking through the thick plastic, but this is the best protection around if you plan to be out in dicey weather. 5 |

I have a Kata Dr-465i bag that I use with my Canon EOS 60D and three lenses (1 on camera and 2 in storage spots). I love the Kata bag -- it's a great size for field use, and for transport like when I go to on vacation or to the relatives for holidays. But once I acquired the 60mm lens, it would simply not fit in the bag in the camera storage area. Generally this is not an issue, since the 60mm is a lens I use indoors when I prefer not to use the other lens (zooms). And I did not want to go to a larger size bag. So for storage I found the LensPouch was a perfect fit to allow me to keep the 60mm lens in the top section of the bag with some protection. 5 |

I've owned various camera cases over the past 40 years from PortaBrace, Kata, Satchler, CamRade, and others. This one is the best ever. It fits my PXW-Z750 perfectly with no wasted space. It's literally half the width of the cases I use for mt F55 and FS7. Love it. I like the black color too because I've grown tired of seeing PortaBrace blue. 5 |

I own quite a few bags (Kata, Lowepro, Crumpler, Think Tank) even though they all are of good quality and design, they are often uncomfortable to use when shooting. Getting to my lenses or accessories is often awkward, I'm always afraid that I will drop something. I have also an old Domke bag (F-3X) that I use with my Minolta camera and I always found it to be easy to use. After many trips to my camera store, I finally decide to get another Domke bag. I have been using the F-2 for a few weeks now and I have no regrets. It is what I was looking for; a bag I can easily take lenses in an out without having to fight with the inserts inside. I know where everything is. It is lightly padded so it will fit to your body and it is more comfortable to carry for long periods of time. A word of caution; this bag is not for everyone. If you are looking for a bag that will protect your gear against everything, you should look elsewhere. It is a minimalist bag with is own limitations. If you have big and or large lenses, it may be a tight fit inside. If you have a battery grip on your camera you may have to try it for size first. I own a Sony A33 with 28, 35, 50 and 85mm lenses plus 18-55 and 55-200mm zoom lenses; a small size kit that fits very well inside this bag. 5 |

This is a product that I always have in my camera bag because it folds into a very compact, easy-to-carry, size. It is good to always have along for piece-of-mind. Sometimes the weather is unpredictable and I don't want to be caught in the rain with my expensive gear unprotected. In those cases when I absolutely know I will definitely without-a-doubt be shooting in the rain, I break out the Kata Bag for heavy-duty rain gear. But I like having this for those times when I don't necessarily want to pack the Kata Bag because the Kata Bag is bulky. This bag is so nice as a back-up for those just in case days. I've also used it when I've needed to shoot in dusty and sandy conditions where the Kata Bag is also just a bit too much. The price of this bag makes it disposable. 5 |

I bought a few month ago (Also here in B&H)a camera shoulder bag Kata DC-445. This bag is just perfect for me however, even the shoulder strap is pretty good, this little bag can carry a lot and at the end of the day I got some pain. Also, it's a bit slippery and I need to re-adjust the bag on my shoulder really often. After numbers research, I found this strap and finally decide to order it. This strap is really well build and finished. It's definitely a huge improvement in term of comfort. It absorb the shock when walking and doesn't slip anymore from my shoulder. I recommend this product to any shoulder bag (even for laptop) for who has to carry it the entire day. 5 |
