Kata Camera Backpack Laptop Carrier

Used this in addition to the Cotton Carrier for backpack strap. It was very handy in those times when I took off my backpack, but still wanted to have my camera handy. The two worked very well together for me on a recent hiking trip.

It is not only a high quality camera backpack, but it is also a functional daily carrier and travel bag. Because of the high quality recycled materials and modular design it gives me the peace of mind knowing that it is a circular and ethical product. With its unique packing system the Travel Backpack is especially useful when it comes to storing my camera gear while I utilise the bag for other purposes, like traveling or hiking. Highly recommend it to digital nomads who are looking for a multi purpose backpack that will last forever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag seems to be the perfect solution for me when I need a backpack to fit an extra lens or two plus personal items when I am traveling and walking about. I bought this in preparation for a trip to France. I use a cotton carrier so tend to have my camera with a 24-105 lens on the cotton carrier and need a smallish backpack to fit a couple of extra lenses. My intention is not to have a backpack that fits all of my gear-I already have that and was looking for something that wouldn't break my back when touring and walking. I have the essential cube and find that I am able to fit my camera (with lens attached) in the bag as needed also! Love the side access to get to the camera easily. Also love all of the other hidden pockets for added security. at the 21L fits perfectly on my small frame and will easily meet the tight restrictions for allowable personal bags on international flights.

I have used billingham 225 and kata backpack. This is the smallest and lightest bag in my lineup, for casual photo taking day. Just one camera mounted with standard zoom lens and extra lens will be in there, mostly. If necessary, there is still room for another lens or flash. Also, side pockets are great. Last, its design with rugged wear is just awesome.

I bought the Everyday Backpack v2 in the hopes of having a backpack for both my laptop and my camera gear, and boy, did it deliver. The laptop compartment fits my laptop perfectly (plus my tablet), the camera compartments are secure and easy to adjust, and in top of that, the backpack simply looks awesome. I also had it with me on trips to Europe and Dubai, and it is a perfect travel companion also. This is the best camera backpack I have ever used.

I can load my Sony Hardshell Camera case, Soft-side Kata 110 camera bag, 2 tripods, a light case and a few gadget bags on this little wonder. Great investment for the one-man video show.

I use a flight vest style backpack harness with very wide straps, and this carrier fits perfectly due to the adjustable Velcro sizer. Way more versatile than the similar Peak Design product. I also appreciate the two built in safeties, one tethering the carrier to the backpack in addition to the Velcro, and the other tethering the camera to the carrier in addition to the hub.

Lives up to its' advertising. Handy, easy to carry and efficient. Much better then messing around with a backpack or other carrier that you have to take off and go into. Adopts to practically anything for carrying purposes. Well thought out design and quality fit and finish. A winner.

After years of using the ThinkTank carrier system (with attached straps hanging from my backpack shoulder harnesses), I switched to Peak Design capture system, which is much better. The camera (even with a heavy f2.8 lens attached) sits securely with no bouncing and extremely quick access. Will never go back.

I needed a lens carrier for when I need to switch lenses in the middle of a shoot. I usually carry my backpack with all my gear but changing lenses in the middle of a bridge or the middle of a creek is difficult. Enter this handy device and I can keep one on my belt and change no matter where I am. It's a nice piece. Seems well made, so far has held up to my tests.
